No news on detained Mourning Mothers and father of slain post-election protester

On Sunday, December 5, a ceremony was held for the birthday of Amir Arshad Tajmir (he was killed on December 27, 2010 in Ashura protests after a security force car intentionally ran over him) at his gravesite in Behesht Zahra Cemetery with the presence of a number of his friends, the families of those killed in the post-election protests and the Mourning Mothers. In the end of the ceremony, security forces arrested and took away a minibus with 12 members of the families of slain protesters and mourning mothers and transferred the minibus to the Shahre Rey Intelligence Agency. After hours of interrogations, all but three people were released. These detainees are Neda Mostaqimi, Hakimeh Shokri and Mehdi Ramezani Far, the father of slain post-election protester Ramin Ramezani Far. There is no information on the condition and whereabouts of these detainees.

بي خبري از وضعيت دو مادر عزادار بازداشتي
روز يکشنبه 14آذر مراسمي بمناسبت تولد امير ارشد تاجمير در بهشت زهرا بر سرمزار وي برگزار گرديده بود که تعدادي از دوستان و خانواده‌هاي جانباختگان و مادران عزادار در اين مراسم شرکت کرده بودند. در خاتمه نيروي انتظامي وماموران حاکميت، ميني‌بوس حامل تعدادي از ما دران عزادار و خانواده‌هاي جانباختگان را که تعداد 12نفر در آن بودند، را کلاً بازداشت کرده و به اطلاعات شهر ري منتقل کرده بودند. اين مادران پس از ساعتها بازجويي و… نهايتاً بجز سه نفر آزاد گرديدند، خانمها ندا مستقيمي و حکيمه شکري و مهدي رمضاني فر (پدر جان باخته رامين رمضاني فر) تاکنون آزاد نگرديده‌اند و هنوز اطلاعي از مادران بازداشتي در دست نيست و مشخص نيست که اين مادران و آقاي رمضاني به کجا انتقال داده شده‌اند. According to reports from last night, security forces attacked the Ashura stands of mourners in the Olympics Township and beat them with clubs. A number of the mourners were injured and wounded and others were arrested.
Reports say that at about 11:30 pm, security forces and Special Guards forces attacked Ashura mourning stands in the Olympic Township in Tehran and clashed with the young mourners who were present in the stands. The clashes continued for a few hours into the night. A number of people were wounded in these violent clashes and a young man identified as Mohammad Nasiripour passed out after being struck with batons and was taken to the Milad Hospital in Tehran.
A number of the detainees were taken to prison and at least four of them were transferred to the Youth Hall of Cellblock 4 in Gohardasht Prison in Karaj. These four detainees were identified as Reza Sobhi, Mehdi Nasirpour, Reza Heshmati and Yusef Jan Mohammadi.

بنابه گزارشات رسيده به ”فعالين حقوق‌بشر و دمکراسي در ايران“ شب گذشته نيروهاي سرکوبگر به تکيه‌هاي عزاداران حسيني که مردم و جوانان معترض در دهکدۀ المپيک شرکت داشتند يورش بردند و آنها را آماج ضربات باتون خود قرار دادند که تعدادي مجروح و مصدوم شدند و تعدادي ديگر را دستگير نمودند.
چهارشنبه شب 17آذر ماه حوالي ساعت 23: 30 نيروهاي سرکوبگر يکان ويژه و نيروي انتظامي به تکيه‌هاي عزادار حسيني که اکثراً جوانان معترض آن را تشکيل مي‌دادند در دهکدۀ المپيک يورش بردند و با آنها درگير شدند اين درگيري تا پاسي از شب ادامه داشت. در اين درگيري وحشيانه تعدادي از مردم و جوانان زخمي‌شدند و يکي از جوانان به‌نام محمد نصيري‌پور در اثر ضربات وحشيانه بيهوش گرديد و به بيمارستان ميلاد تهران منتقل شد.
هم‌چنين تعدادي از جوانان دستگير و به زندان منتقل شدند حداقل 4نفر از آنها به سالن جوانان بند 4 زندان گوهردشت کرج منتقل شدند. اسامي 4نفر از دستگير شدگان عبارتند از: رضا صبحي، مهدي نصيرپور، رضا حشمتي و يوسف جان محمدي مي‌باشند. (فعالين حقوق‌بشر و دمکراسي در ايران – 18/9/89)

Iran sentences political activist to 7 years of prison and 74 lashes

A member of the Central Council of the Iran Freedom Movement was sentenced to seven years of prison and 74 lashes.
Seyed Amir Khoram was sentenced to seven years of prison and 74 lashes by Judge Pir Abbasi on charges of acting against national security by membership in the Iran Freedom Movement, writing articles, giving interviews to foreign radios and participating in illegal gatherings.
This initial court verdict for a trial that was held on October 18 was announced to his lawyer on December 7. Khoram was summoned to the Intelligence Agency after the events of Ashura in December and was subsequently arrested. He was detained for 50 days in cellblock 209 in Evin Prison. He has also been banned from leaving the country since last year.

حکم هفت سال حبس تعزيري و 74 ضربه شلاق براي مهندس امير خرم

عضو شوراي مرکزي نهضت آزادي ايران به تحمل هفت سال حبس تعزيري و 74 ضربه شلاق محکوم شد.
به گزارش ميزان خبر، مهندس سيدامير خرم، به حکم قاضي پير عباسي و به اتهامهاي اقدام عليه امنيت ملي از طريق عضويت در نهضت آزادي ايران، نوشتن مقالات و انجام مصاحبه با راديوهاي بيگانه و نيز حضور در تجمعات غيرقانوني، به هفت سال حبس تعزيري و 74 ضربه شلاق محکوم شد.
حکم بدوي اين عضو دفتر سياسي نهضت آزادي ايران که در 26 مهر ماه محاکمه شده بود، روز 16 آذر به وکيل وي ابلاغ شد.
خرم سال گذشته و در پي وقايع عاشورا به دفتر پيگيريهاي وزارت اطلاعات احضار و بازداشت شد و به مدت 50 روز در بند 209 زندان اوين به سر برد.
همچنين او از سال گذشته ممنوع الخروج است. (ميزان خبر – 18/9/89)

Security forces shoot and severely wound two border ‘carriers’

In the systematic killing of Kurd border residents (carriers) under the pretext of countering smuggled goods, two other Kurd citizens were shot by security forces in the Marivan border region.
According to reports, last night in the Doleyi border region in Marivan, security forces opened fire on Kurd citizens and severely wounded two of them. One of these men was identified as Kamal Qaderi but the identity of the second person is unknown.

در ادامه کشتار سيستماتيک شهروندان مرزنشين کرد (کولبران) به بهانه مبارزه با قاچاخ کالا، دو شهروند ديگر کرد شب گذشته در حوالي مرز مريوان مورد اصابت گلوله نيروهاي انتظامي قرار گرفتند.
به گزارش ارگان خبري مجموعه فعالان حقوق بشر در ايران " هرانا " شب گذشته در حوالي مرز " دوله بي " از توابع مريوان، نيروهاي انتظامي به سوي تعدادي از شهروندان مرزنشين کرد تيراندازي مي کنند که بر اثر اصابت گلوله دو شهروند کرد که هويت يکي از آنها کمال قادري اعلام شده است به شدت زخمي مي شوند.

Iran shuts News Corp office, arrests 5 - agency

Iran has closed the Tehran office of a television channel partly owned by News Corp and arrested five employees for 'helping the anti-revolutionary movement,' the semi-official Mehr news agency said on Tuesday.
The satellite entertainment channel Farsi1 broadcasts soaps and sitcoms dubbed into Persian. It is operated by Dubai-based Broadcast Middle East, a 50-50 joint venture between News Corp and Afghanistan's MOBY Group.
Tehran Prosecutor General Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi said the Farsi1 office in central Tehran had dubbed television series into Farsi 'with the aim of helping the anti-revolutionary movement,' Mehr news agency said.
‘This office was shut down and five people were arrested in this regard. There were advanced machines and equipment in this office and we wonder how this equipment was imported and installed there,' he said.
The Iranian state has a monopoly of broadcasting in Iran.
Dolatabadi did not give further details and did not say when the channel's office was closed down.
Iran's hardline rulers often accuse the United States and other Western countries of seeking to overthrow clerical rule through a 'soft' or 'velvet' revolution with the help of intellectuals, internet websites and satellite channels.
Launched in August 2009, Farsi1 is popular among many Iranians with its range of entertainment shows from the United States, Latin America and Asia.
Iranian authorities were in the past critical of the channel, saying its programs were contradictory to Iran's Islamic and revolutionary values.

IRAN HANGS again!: 20 other prisoners secretly hanged in Vakil Abad Prison in Mashhad

Local informed sources have reported that nine prisoners were hanged on November 30 in Vakil Abad Prison in Mashhad. According to this source, on November 9, 11 others were hanged on drug related charges in this prison. Counting the 10 prisoners who were killed on October 26 in this prison, the number of executions in the past two months in Vakil Abad Prison reaches 30 persons…
These executions are not included in the official statistics which is given to state-run media in official statements by the Judicial System.
These prisoners are hanged in the Protection Cellblock in Vakil Abad Prison. According to this source, the executions on November 9 and November 30 were carried out without following the official regulations of the Islamic Republic and without the presence or notification of their lawyers or families.
“As in previous cases, prisoners who were executed were only informed of the confirmation of their death sentences and the time it would be carried out hours before their execution. Their lawyers and families were not informed that the Supreme Court had confirmed their death sentences and their cases were only sent for implementation to the Mashhad Prosecutor.
Before this, this source had told the Campaign that there are many questions regarding the implementation of due process in some of these cases.

اعدام ۲۰ تن ديگر از مجرمان مواد مخدري در زندان وکيل آباد وادامه سکوت چندين ماهه مقامات قضايي در مورد وقايع اين زندان

به دنبال گزارش هاي کمپين بين المللي حقوق بشر در ايران از وقوع اعدام هاي دسته جمعي، مخفيانه که بدون رعايت تشريفات قانوني در زندان وکيل آباد مشهد صورت مي گيرد منابع مطلع محلي به کمپين گفتند که ۹ تن ديگر نيز در تاريخ ۹ آذرماه اعدام شده اند. به گفته منبع ياد شده در ۱۸ آبان ماه نيز ۱۱ تن ديگر از متهمان مرتبط با جرائم موادمخدري در اين زندان اعدام شده بودند. با احتساب ۱۰ زنداني که در روز ۴ آبان امسال در اين زندان اعدام شده بودند و پيش از اين کمپين گزارش آن را منتشر کرده است، شمار اعدام هاي دو ماه گذشته در زندان وکيل آباد مشهد به ۳۰ تن رسيد... اعدام هاي ياد شده در آمارهاي رسمي که در اختيار رسانه هاي دولتي توسط بيانيه هاي رسمي دستگاه قضايي گذاشته مي شود ديده نمي شود.

افراد ياد شده در بندحفاظت زندان وکيل آباد به دار آويخته شدند. به گفته منبع ياد شده اعدام هاي روزهاي ۱۸ آبان و ۹ آذر نيز بدون رعايت قوانين رسمي جمهوري اسلامي و بدون حضور و اطلاع وکلا و خانواده اعدام شدگان ، اجرا شده است: « حتي خود اعدام شدگان نيز مانند موارد قبلي اعدام ، تا ساعاتي قبل از اجراي حکم اعدام از تاييد حکم اعدام توسط ديوان عالي و زمان اجراي آن مطلع نبوده اند. تاييديه حکم ديوان عالي کشور به محکومان به اعدام يا وکلا و خانواده انها ابلاغ نشده است و تنها براي اجرا به دادستاني مشهد فرستاده شده است.» پيش از اين منابع ياد شده به کمپين گفتند که ابهامات زيادي در مورد شرايط دادرسي به برخي از پرونده هاي ياد شده وجود دارد. Head of Iran’s Judiciary says that armed robbers and rapists will all be hanged

Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani, the head of the Judiciary said, “All rapists and armed robbers should know that their actions are considered as enmity with God in the eyes of the law and the Judiciary will see to their cases in less than a month and without doubt their sentence is death”.
