Iran sentences man to being blinded in one eye

The Supreme Court upheld the retribution sentence for a laborer who had blinded another man with acid and referred the case to the Tehran Penal Court for implementation.
The 26 year old convict who is identified as Mohammad was hired five years ago by the husband of the victim’s sister to attack him with acid...
The judges’ panel of the 77th branch of the court sentenced Mohammad to be blinded in one eye without acid and to pay blood money for Vali’s (the victim’s) other injured body parts. (Aftab News website – Sep. 26, 2011)

4 people to be flogged in public in Khuzestan

The Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor of Gatvand in the province of Khuzestan said the flogging sentence of [4] bank robbers would be carried out in public.
“With the finalization of the verdict regarding those convicted in the National Gatvand Bank robbery, their sentence {flogging] will be carried out tomorrow outside of the robbery site”, Karim Sajadi Far said. (Committee of Human Rights Reporters – Sep. 27, 2011)

Systematic group rapes in Karaj Prison under orders of prison officials
According to reports, three young prisoners were transferred to other prison cellblocks to be group raped by prison gangs.
In the past few weeks, at least three young prisoners who were transferred to cellblocks 1, 4 and 6 on orders of prison officials Mohammad Mardani and Khadem, were tied up by prison gangs and group raped. These three teenagers were hospitalized for a week after this incident and are now suffering from severe physical and psychological problems...
These cases were disclosed because most prisoners were aware of it but there are reportedly high numbers of rape cases which are kept secret. Prison gangs carry out this violent act with assurances from Mardani and Khadem that they will not be prosecuted and punished. Some of these young prisoners are used as sex slaves and are sometimes rented to other prisoners.
Currently, a large number of teenage prisoners and young prisoners are kept with dangerous criminals in cellblocks 1, 3, 4 and 6 and are at risk of sexual assault and being infected with dangerous diseases such as HIV. (Human Rights and Democracy Activists in Iran – Sep. 29, 2011)

Iran sentences 5 young people including 15 year old girl to 99 lashes for ‘illegitimate relationship’

Five convicts in a Satanist case were cleared of the devil worshipping charges but were convicted of other charges.
According to the bill of indictment from the Mashhad Public and Revolutionary Court, in March 2010, the residents of a neighborhood in Mashhad called the police complaining of unconventional noise and a gathering by young girls and boys in a home. After this report and after getting judicial warrants, security agents inspected the home at 1 am and arrested four young men and a 15 year old girl...
According to the court ruling, each one of the suspects in the case was sentenced to 99 lashes for having illegitimate relationships. (Khorasan state-run daily, Tabnak state-run website – Sep. 29, 2011)

دادستان عمومي و انقلاب گتوند از توابع استان خوزستان از آغاز اجراي حکم شلاق سارقان بانک ملي گتوند در ملاء عام خبر داد.

کريم سجادي‌فر در اين باره اظهارکرد: با قطعي شدن راي صادره در خصوص محکومان سرقت بانک ملي گتوند، بخشي از اين حکم فردا چهارشنبه روبروي محل سرقت به اجرا در مي آيد. (رهانا – 5/7/90)

تجاوز گروهي به نوجوانان و جواناني زنداني به دستور رئيس و معاون زندان گوهردشت کرج

بنابه گزارشات رسيده به "فعالين حقوق بشر و دمکراسي در ايران" نوجوانان و جوانان زنداني بدستور مسئولين زندان به بندهايي منتقل مي شوند که هدف تجاوز جنسي گروهي باندهاي مافيايي قرار مي گيرند.

در طي چند هفتۀ گذشته حداقل سه نوجوان که به سلولهاي باندهاي مافيايي بندهاي 1،4 و 6 بدستور محمد مرداني و خادم منتقل شده بودند با بستن دستها و پاهاي نوجوانان زنداني اقدام به تجاوز گروهي به آنها مي کنند. رفتارهاي وحشيانه آنها باعث گرديد که اين 3 نوجوان زنداني به بيمارستانهاي خارج از زندان منتقل شوند و به مدت يک هفته بستري بودند. آنها پس از اين تجاوز گروهي دچار نارحتي جسمي و روحي شديد هستند...

موارد فوق بدليل اينکه اکثر زندانيان بندها و زندان از اين ماجرا مطلع شده بودند افشا شده است ولي گفته مي شود موارد متعددي تجاوز جنسي عليه نوجوانان بکار برده مي شود و مخفي نگه داشته مي شود. باندهاي مافيايي زندان با اطمينان خاطر يافتن از عدم مجازات و پيگرد قانوني توسط مرداني و خادم اقدام به اين اعمال وحشيانه مي نمايند بعضي از نوجوانان زنداني در اين بندها بصورت برده جنسي مورد سوء استفاده قرار مي گيرند و گاها به ساير زندانيان اجاره داده مي شوند.

در حال حاضر ده ها نفر از نوجوانان و جوانان در سلولهاي زندانيان عادي و خطرناک در بندهاي 1،3،4 و6 قرار داده شده اند و در معرض خطر جدي سوء استفاده هاي جنسي و احتمالا ابتلا به بيماريهاي ايدز و غيره قرار دارند. (فعالين حقوق بشر و دمکراسي در ايران – 7/7/90)

راي دادگاه براي متهمان پرونده شيطان پرستي

خراسان: ۵ متهم پرونده شيطان پرستي در حالي از اتهام توهين به مقدسات از طريق گرايش به شيطان پرستي در دادگاه تبرئه شدند که در خصوص اتهامات ديگر محکوم شدند.

طبق کيفرخواست صادره از دادسراي عمومي و انقلاب مشهد در پانزدهم فروردين ماه گذشته اهالي يک محل در مشهد با پليس ۱۱۰ تماس گرفتند و از ايجاد سر و صداهاي غيرمتعارف و تجمع دختران و پسران جوان در يک منزل مسکوني ابراز ناراحتي کردند.. ماموران انتظامي در پي دريافت اين خبر و پس از گرفتن مجوزهاي قضايي، ساعت يک بامداد منزل مذکور را در حالي مورد بازرسي قرار دادند که ۴ پسر جوان مجرد به همراه يک دختر ۱۵ ساله در اين مکان دستگير شدند...

Iran hangs man in Varamin

With the execution of a narcotics trafficker in the Khorin Prison in Varamin, the case of another death tradesman was closed. Ramezan-Ali was arrested by anti-narc agents in Varamin in 2007 on charges of possessing 2 kilos and 300 grams of crack and 370 grams of heroin. During a number of court sessions, a death sentence was issued for this 50 year old convict by the Varamin Revolutionary Court and was referred to the Supreme Court. Iran hangs man in Qom

A narcotics trafficker who had a criminal record for kidnapping was hanged in the Qom Central Prison.
M.F was arrested on November 17, 2009 and was sentenced to death by the second branch of the Qom Revolutionary Court on May 24, 2010.
After the sentence was upheld by the Attorney General and after his request for amnesty was turned down, the sentence for this convict was carried out in the Qom Prison. (Fars state-run News Agency, Asre Iran state-run website – Sep. 28, 2011)

Iran has hanged two convicted drug traffickers in the eastern city of Zabol and another in the shrine city of Qom, local media reported Thursday.
Two men were sent to the gallows in Zabol, the state television website said, without specifying if the hangings had been carried out in public or in prison.
The third man had been hanged on Wednesday in a prison in Qom, south of Tehran, the government-run Iran newspaper reported without giving any more details. (AFP - Sept 29, 2011)

Iran secretly hangs 8 prisoners in Vakil Abad Prison
According to reports, eight prisoners were hanged in Mashhad’s Vakil Abad Prison on September 24.
The prisoners’ families were not previously informed of the executions. According to reports, the bodies of those executed were handed over to their families while their hands were tied from behind and rope burns were evident on their necks. Security forces shoot and kill one-legged border carrier
On September 25, another border carrier in Kurdistan died in the Orumieh hospital after being directly shot by security forces.
According to reports from Orumieh, Soleiman Moradi known as Haji Soureh from a village in Piranshahr was shot at by security forces and was severely wounded. He was transferred to a hospital in Orumieh but because of the severity of his wounds, passed away 15 days later. This Kurd carrier had lost one of his legs before this after a mine explosion in the mountainous borders of Kurdistan but he was forced to go back to the dangerous occupation of carrying goods on his back to make a living. Soleiman Moradi, 32, had a wife and three small children. (Kordpa website – Sep. 26, 2011)

با اعدام مرد قاچاقچي در زندان خورين ورامين، پرونده يکي ديگر از سوداگران مرگ بسته شد. به گزارش «جام جم»،رمضانعلي (مرد محکوم) در سال 1386 به جرم نگهداري 2 کيلو و 300 گرم کراک و 370 گرم هروئين توسط ماموران مبارزه با موادمخدر شهرستان ورامين دستگير شده بود.طي چند جلسه رسيدگي به پرونده متهم، حکم اعدام در دادگاه انقلاب ورامين براي اين متهم 50 ساله صادر و به ديوان عالي کشور ارسال شد و پس از بررسي و مطالعه، حکم صادره توسط اين ديوان تاييد شد. اعدام يک قاچاقچي مواد مخدر در قم

فارس: يکي از قاچاقچيان مواد مخدر که داراي سابقه آدم‌ربايي نيز بود، در زندان مرکزي قم به‌دار مجازات آويخته شد.

«م. ف» به جرم خريد و نگهداري يک کيلو و 572 گرم و 80 سانتي متر کراک تاريخ 26آبان ماه سال 88 دستگير شده و در تاريخ سوم خرداد ماه سال گذشته پس از صدور کيفر خواست توسط شعبه دهم بازپرسي دادسراي انقلاب، از سوي شعبه دوم دادگاه انقلاب قم به اعدام محکوم شد.

پس از قطعيت رأي توسط دادستاني کل کشور و مردود شناخته شدن تقاضاي عفو نامبرده پس از دو بار بررسي در کميسيون عفو و بخشودگي و استيذان از رياست قوه قضائيه، حکم اعدام اين متهم صبح امروز در زندان مرکزي قم به مرحله اجرا گذاشته شد.

8 نفر در زندان وكيل آباد اعدام شدند

كانون حمايت از خانواده جان باختگان و بازداشتي ها :بر اساس گزارشات دريافتي روز شنبه دوم مهرماه هشت زنداني را در زندان وكيل آباد مشهد بدار آويخته اند.

خبر اعدام اين زندانيان از قبل به خانواده هاي آنان نيز داده نشده است.گزارشات حاكي از آن است كه اجساد اين اعدام شدگان را در حالي كه هنوز دستان آنان از پشت با طناب بسته شده بود و همچنين جاي طناب دار بر گردن آنان بخوبي مشاهده ميشد از طرف زندان براي خانواده هايشان ارسال كرده اند. کولبر يک‌پا توسط نيروي انتظامي کشته شد

سايت کردپا: ديروز يکشنبه مورخه سوم مهرماه يکي ديگر از کولبران مرزي کردستان بر اثر شليک مستقيم گلوله نيروهاي انتظامي حکومت اسلامي ايران در بيمارستاني در شهر اروميه جان خود را از دست داد. بنا‌به گزارش ارسالي ديدبان آژانس خبررساني کردپا در شهر اروميه، سليمان مرادي فرزند محمد ملقب به ”حاجي سووره“ اهل روستاي ”کونه‌لاجان“ از توابع پيرانشهر مي‌باشد که در تاريخ هجدهم شهريور ماه در محلي به نام ”گه‌لي توان“ هدف تيراندازي مستقيم نيروي انتظامي قرار گرفته و به‌شدت مجروح مي‌شود. سليمان مرادي پس از زخمي‌شدن به بيمارستاني در شهر اروميه منتقل گرديده که به‌دليل جراحات شديد بالاخره پس از پانزده روز معالجه بدون نتيجه و دست و پنجه نرم کردن با مرگ جان خود را از دست مي‌دهد. اين کولبر کرد پيشتر به‌دليل انفجار مين در مرزهاي کوهستاني کردستان يک پاي خود را از دست داده بود اما به‌دليل تأمين مايحتاج زندگي مجدداً به اين شغل پر خطر روي آورده بود. سليمان مرادي 32ساله و داراي همسر و سه فرزند خردسال مي‌باشد. More arrests, threats and sentences for Iran’s journalists

Reporters without Borders :
Reporters Without Borders firmly condemns a new wave of arrests of Iranian journalists in recent weeks. The following journalists were arrested between 1 August and 27 September without any official reason being given:
Hamid Moazeni, a blogger and journalist who works for several local newspapers in the south-coast city of Bushehr;
Ali Dini Torkamani, a writer and economist who contributes to the online magazine Alborznet;
Hadi Ahmadi, a journalist who works for the news agency ISNA in Karaj, a city 20 km northwest of Tehran;
Mehrdad Sarjoui, a Tehran-based journalist who writes for several English-language newspapers;
Amir Mehdi Alamehzadeh, a journalist who works for the news agency ILNA in Tehran;
Ebrahim Rashidi, a journalist with the weekly Bayram in the northwestern city of Ardabil;
Faranak Farid, a writer and translator who contributes to the Feminist School website. She was arrested on 3 September in the northwestern city of Tabriz.
As already reported, members of the staff of Majzooban Nor, a website that supports Iran’s Sufis, were arrested during raids by intelligence ministry officials on 7 and 8 September, again without any official reason being given.
The following are still held: Alireza Roshan, a book reviewer for the newspaper Shargh, Ali Akrami, editor of the Sheydagooyi blog (http://sheydagooyi.blogfa.com/), Ali Straki, Mehdi Hossini, Mehdi Osanlo, Hamid Moradi, Mehran Rahbari, Mostafa Abdi, Nosrat Tabassi, Ali Moazemi and Reza Entesari.
These detained journalists are being denied their rights. They do not have access to their own lawyer. Some of them, such as Mehrdad Sarjoui, have been in solitary confinement for weeks. Others, such as Faranak Farid, have been mistreated. Their families are threatened with reprisals if they talk to the media.
Reporters Without Borders is also outraged by the way the various intelligence services are harassing journalists and intellectuals in an attempt to force them to collaborate with the regime and betray colleagues. Several detained journalists are suffering from depression after being pressured in this way. Others who are not in prison have fled the country to escape this form of harassment.
The journalist Narges Mohammadi has meanwhile just been sentenced to 11 years in prison on charges of collaborating with the Human Rights Defenders Centre, “meeting and conspiring against the Islamic Republic” and anti-government propaganda. Until her arrest, she was the centre’s a spokesperson and a close colleague of Nobel peace laureate Shirin Ebadi.
Ahmad Reza Ahmadpour, a theologian and editor of the “Silent Echo” website (http://www.pejvak-kh.com) who has been held since 18 July, was sentenced on 26 September to three years in prison and 10 years of internal exile on a charge of disseminating false information attacking the government.
A cleric and blogger based in the religious city of Qom, Ahmadpour was previously arrested in December 2009 and was given a one-year sentence on a similar charge. While held, he sent an open letter to UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon to draw attention to his arrest.
According to the pro-reformist website Kalameh, Chari Mohammad Moradof, a citizen of Turkmenistan held for the past 26 months in Tehran’s Evin prison, has been sentenced to 21 years in prison on charges of spying and anti-government propaganda. A student and translator, he was arrested while filming a street protest shortly after President Mahmoud Ahmadinedjad’s disputed reelection in June 2009.

8 نفر در زندان وكيل آباد اعدام شدند

خبر اعدام اين زندانيان از قبل به خانواده هاي آنان نيز داده نشده است.گزارشات حاكي از آن است كه اجساد اين اعدام شدگان را در حالي كه هنوز دستان آنان از پشت با طناب بسته شده بود و همچنين جاي طناب دار بر گردن آنان بخوبي مشاهده ميشد از طرف زندان براي خانواده هايشان ارسال كرده اند. Iran has hanged two convicted drug traffickers in the eastern city of Zabol and another in the shrine city of Qom, local media reported Thursday.
Two men were sent to the gallows in Zabol, the state television website said, without specifying if the hangings had been carried out in public or in prison.
The third man had been hanged on Wednesday in a prison in Qom, south of Tehran, the government-run Iran newspaper reported without giving any more details.
