The Legal Medicine office announced its answer regarding a request from the Tehran Penal Court over the retribution of the man who attacked Farzad Forouzesh [a mullah who was attacked by a man for harassing a woman. Forouzesh lost his eyesight in the process].According to the opinion of the Legal Medicine Office, the eyes of the attacker are completely healthy and the retribution sentence [blinding] can be carried out.
But questions remain in the opinion because given that Forouzesh’s eyes were not blinded 100 percent, there is a possibility that when the sentence is carried out, the attacker’s eye cannot be equally blinded [for example he might lose more of his eyesight].
It has to be seen what the judge will rule in light of the complainant’s request [for retribution]. (Fars state-run News Agency – Feb. 24, 2012)
Iran flogs political activist in Evin Prison
According to reports, the flogging sentence for political activist Shahram Karimi which was issued by the 26th branch of the Revolutionary Court headed by Judge Pir Abbasi on charges of ‘disrupting public order’ was carried out in Evin Prison.
Shahram Karimi was arrested with his brother Naser Karimi and his sister during the February 14, 2011 protests. They were all temporarily released on bail after spending three months in the quarantine section in cellblock 7 and cellblock 350 in Evin Prison.
Karimi’s brother, Naser Karimi also went to prison yesterday to serve his prison term.
He was sentenced to four months of prison and five years of suspended prison on charges of ‘propagating against the government’ and ‘disrupting public order’. (Human Rights Activists in Iran – Feb. 28, 2012)
Iran sentences woman and three men to 100 lashes each for illegitimate relationship

Three convicts who were charged with killing two brothers were sentenced to six retributions [death sentences], flogging and prison terms by the Tehran Penal Court…
According to reports, on the evening of November 18, 2009, a middle aged man went to the Shahriar Penal Court and reported that his two brothers were missing.
Police investigations into the missing brothers identified as 43 year old Hojjat and 31 year old Reza started until 35 days later, their bodies were found inside a well in a garden.
Further investigations showed that Hojjat had a relationship with a woman named Saloumeh. After her arrest, she disclosed the murder of the two brothers by two Afghans and an Iranian man…
[In court] after the last statements of the suspects, Judge Aziz Mohammadi announced the end of the court session and after discussing with the court assistants, announced the verdict.
Saloumeh was sentenced to 100 lashes for having an illegitimate relationship (her adultery charge was not proved in court). Mojtaba, Shadmehr and Hossein were each sentenced to retribution [death], 100 lashes and three years of prison on charges of complicity in murder, having an illegitimate relationship and illegal incarceration. Mother of jailed political activist says son was severely beaten in prison
Fatemeh Alvandi, the mother of political prisoner Mehdi Mahmoudian who is detained in Rajayi Shahr Prison in Karaj requested that the condition of political prisoners be seen to in a letter to the head of the Prison Organization Gholam-Hossein Ismaili. She cited this letter in an interview and said, “In early February, they called me from prison and said that they had gone to Mehdi’s cell but he was not inside. My son was not returned to his cell until one day before my visit in prison. During this time, I constantly went to the court but I did not get any answers and they told me that there were no problems”.
“When I went to visit Mehdi, he said if he could see me in person, he would show me his body that was bruised and battered from being beaten. One soldier had held his throat and three others severely beat him while he was being transferred from Rajayi Shahr Prison to Evin. He was beaten so badly, that he passed out”, she added.
According to Mrs. Alvandi, in her visit, Mr. Mahmoudian said that when he regained his conscience, he saw doctors and nurses tending to him.
“The head of prison and the medical examiner witnessed this scene, but did nothing”, Mrs. Alvandi said adding that her son also received a blow to the head...
Mehdi Mahmoudian is a member of the Cooperation Front and had disclosed events at the Kahrizak Detention Center [which later led to its closure].
He was arrested on September 16, 2011 and was detained in Evin Prison. Mehdi was later transferred to Rajayi Shahr Prison…
Mr. Mahmoudian has been sentenced to five years of prison on the charge of assembling and conspiring against the government. He wrote a letter from prison to Khamenei about the condition of prisoners in Rajayi Shahr and continuous rapes going on in this prison. (Radio BBC – Feb. 29, 2012)

فارس، پزشکی قانونی پاسخ استعلام دادگاه کیفری استان تهران درباره قصاص چشم ضارب فرزاد
فروزش اعلام کرد.
براساس نظریه پزشکی
قانونی، چشمان ضارب فروزش کاملا سالم بوده و قابلیت اجرای حکم قصاص چشم را دارد.
اما در این نظریه پزشکی
قانونی یک ابهام وجود دارد و آن این است که با توجه به اینکه چشم فروزش به طور 100
درصد نابینا نشده است، امکان دارد که در زمان اجرای حکم قصاص، رعایت تساوی نشود.
حال، باید منتظر ماند
تا جلسه محاکمه برگزار شود و دید که با توجه به درخواست شاکی، قاضی چه حکمی صادر خواهد
کرد.

هرانا، ارگان خبري مجموعه فعالان حقوق بشر در ايران، حکم شلاق شهرام کريمي، فعال
سياسي، که از سوي شعبه‌ي ۲۶ دادگاه انقلاب اسلامي به رياست قاضي پيرعباس به اتهام
"اخلال در نظم عمومي" صادر شده بود، روز گذشته در محل زندان اوين به اجرا
درآمد.
شهرام کريمي در تجمعات
اعتراضي ۲۵ بهمن ماه سال ۸۹ به همراه ناصر کريمي، برادر و هم‌چنين خواهرشان بازداشت
شد که همگي پس از گذراندن ۳ ماه حبس در قرنطينه‌ي اندرزگاه هفت و بند ۳۵۰ زندان اوين
به قيد وثيقه‌ي يک ميليارد ريالي موقتاً آزاد شده بودند.

فارس، عصر 27 آبان سال ۸۸، مرد میانسالی با حضور در دادسرای جنایی شهریار، از فقدان
دو برادر خود خبر داد. تحقیقات پلیس برای مشخص شدن سرنوشت این دو برادر به نام‌های
حجت، 43 ساله و رضا 31 ساله، آغاز شد تا اینکه 35 روز بعد اجساد آنها داخل چاهی در
یک باغ کشف شد.
با تحقیقات انجام شده،
مشخص شد حجت با زنی به نام سالومه ارتباط داشته است که این زن بعد از دستگیری پرده
از قتل دلخراش دو برادر توسط 3 مرد افغانی و ایرانی برداشت...
بعد از آخرین اظهارات
متهمان، قاضی عزیزمحمدی ختم جلسه را اعلام و بعد از مشورت با مستشاران دادگاه حکم متهمان
را اینگونه اعلام کرد:
سالومه به علت ارتباط
نامشروع به تحمل 100 ضربه شلاق محکوم شد( زنای محصنه وی اثبات نشد). مجتبی، شادمهر
و حسین هر سه به علت مشارکت در قتل، رابطه نامشروع و حبس غیرقانونی، به قصاص، تحمل
100 ضربه شلاق و 3 سال حبس محکوم شدند. (فارس – 9/12/90)

را انقدر زدند که بیهوش شد
خانم الوندی، در گفتگو
با بی‌بی‌سی فارسی با اشاره به این نامه و عدم پاسخگویی به آن گفت: ”اواسط بهمن از
داخل زندان با من تماس گرفتند و گفتند که برای احوالپرسی به سلول مهدی رفته‌اند اما
او داخل سلول نبوده، چندین بار تماس گرفتند و پسرم را تا روز چهارشنبه یک روز پیش از
ملاقات به سلولش بازگردانده نشد. در این مدت مدام به دادسرا مراجعه کردم، اما جوابی
به من ندادند و گفتند مشکلی نیست“.
خانم الوندی اضافه
کرد: ”وقتی به ملاقات مهدی رفتم، گفت اگر ملاقات حضوری بود، بدنش را نشانم می‌داد که
بر اثر ضرب‌وشتم کبود است. یک سرباز گلویش را گرفته و سه نفر دیگر او را در زمان انتقال
از زندان رجایی شهر به اوین به‌شدت زدند به‌نحوی که پسرم بیهوش شده است“.
به گفته خانم الوندی،
در این ملاقات آقای محمودیان گفته که وقتی به هوش آمده سرم، پرستار و دکترها را بالای
سر خود دیده است.
خانم الوندی با اشاره
به اینکه به‌سر آقای محمودیان هم ضربه‌ای وارد شده است، گفت: ”رئیس زندان و پزشک قانونی
نیز شاهد بودند اما عکس‌العملی نشان ندادند“.

جبهه مشارکت و از کسانی بوده است که در خصوص وقایع بازداشتگاه کهریزک اطلاع‌رسانی کرد.
آقای محمودیان در ۲۵ شهریورماه در منزل شخصی بازداشت و مدتی در زندان اوین و سپس به
زندان رجایی شهر منتقل شد...
آقای محمودیان به اتهام اجتماع و تبانی علیه نظام به
۵ سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شده است. او در داخل زندان نیز نامه‌یی درباره وضعیت زندان
رجایی شهر کرج و تجاوزهای مکرر در این زندان خطاب به آیت‌الله خامنه‌ای نوشت. (سایت رادیو بی.بی.سی- 10/12/1390)
