Iran sentences post-election protester to 5 years of prison and 30 lashes

Isa Faridi was sentenced to 5 years of prison, a fine of about 40 million tomans [about 40,000 dollars] and 30 lashes in a revolutionary court presided over by Judge Salavati.
According to reports, he was arrested in June 2009 during the post-election arrests and suppressions in his office and was transferred to Evin prison’s Cellblock 2A.
After 110 days of solitary confinement, he was released on a 330 million toman bail.

عيسي فريدي، جهادگر و رزمنده دوران جنگ در دادگاهي به رياست قاضي صلواتي، به ۵ سال حبس تعزيري، حدود ۴۰ ميليون تومان جزاي نقدي و تحمل ۳۰ ضربه شلاق محکوم شد.

به گزارش خبرنگار کلمه، اين مدير دوران جنگ، سازندگي و اصلاحات، اوايل تيرماه سال ۸۸ و در جريان دستگيريها و سرکوبهاي بعد از انتخابات رياست‌جمهوري در دفتر کارش بازداشت و به بند دوالف سپاه در زندان اوين منتقل شد.
