Iran sentences political activist to 6 years of prison and 74 lashes

Student Committee in Defense of Political Prisoners :
Massoud Sadeqi, a supporter of the Iran Freedom Movement was sentenced to six years of prison and 74 lashes by the 28th branch of the Revolutionary Court headed by Judge Moqiseh.
Mr. Sadeqi was charged with assembling and conspiring with the intention of disrupting security, forming history reading groups, propagating against the government, and insulting the leader. He was sentenced to 74 lashes for ‘insulting the head of the 10th government’.

محکوميت يک هوادار نهضت آزادي به شش سال حبس و ۷۴ ضربه شلاق

مسعود صادقي، يکي ديگر از هواداران نهضت آزادي ايران به حکم شعبه ۲۸ دادگاه انقلاب اسلامي تهران به رياست قاضي مقيسه به شش سال حبس تعزيري و هفتد و چهار ضربه شلاق محکوم شد.

به گزارش ميزان خبر، آقاي صادقي به اتهام‌هاي «اجتماع و تباني به قصد برهم زدن امنيت با تشکيل و راه اندازي گروه مطالعه تاريخ»، «تبليغ عليه نظام» و «توهين به رهبري» به شش سال حبس و به «اتهام توهين به رييس دولت دهم» به ۷۴ ضربه شلاق محکوم شده است. (كميته دانشجويي دفاع از زندانيان سياسي – 28/7/90)
