Golestan miners work 300 days without wages

Miners in the Roudbar and Qeshlaq villages in eastern Golestan have said that their wages have not been given to them for the last 10 months.
According to a number of these miners, those in charge of the mine have invested in other sectors instead of paying their miners.
This is while the heads of the industry and mine sectors in Golestan say they are not aware of this issue. Also, a number of Eastern Alborz coal miners did not go to work for a few days last week because they had not received their wages in the past few months.
Work in the mines which has many dangers and the lack of wages has exhausted these impoverished workers.
Golestan has 21 active mines and in the first half of the year more than 179 tons of material, mostly coal, has been mined.

300روز کار بدون مزد در معادن مينودشت
کارگران معادن روستاهاي رودبار و قشلاق مينودشت واقع در شرق گلستان عنوان مي کنند که در 10 ماه گذشته حقوقشان پرداخت نشده است.
به اظهار برخي کارگران مسئولان اين معادن بجاي پرداخت حق الزحمه کارگران به سرمايه‌گذاري در بخش‌هاي غير از هدف اوليه در جاهاي ديگر پرداخته‌اند.
اين درحاليست مسئولان صنايع و معادن گلستان از اين قضيه اظهار بي‌اطلاعي مي‌کنند همچنين برخي کارگران زغال سنگ البرز شرقي در هفته هاي اخير چند روز به دليل پرداخت نشدن حقوق ماه‌هاي گذشته، سرکارشان حاضر نشدند.
علاوه براين کار در معدن با مشکلات مخاطرات زيادي روبروست و پرداخت نشدن حقوق خستگي را بر تن کارگران محروم نشانده است.
گلستان 21 معدن فعال دارد و در نيمه نخست سال جاري بيش از 179 هزار تن مواد معدني استخراج شده است که بيشتر آن مربوط به زغال سنگ بوده است. (هرانا – 16/8/89)
