Reza Khandan, lawyer Nasrin Sutodeh’s husband said in an interview that she is still on a dry hunger strike (refuses to eat and drink) and expressed concern over her condition. He said that if anything were to happen to Mrs. Sutodeh, all responsibility would lie with judicial and security officials.
He also said that her lawyer Nasim Ghanavi visited her in prison yesterday and said that in addition to the charge of acting against national security and conspiring and assembling she was also charged with being a member of the Center of Human Rights Defenders…
“According to Ms. Ghanavi, Nasrin has become extremely thin and was not even able to talk”, her husband said regarding her condition in prison.
Mr. Khandan who has not been allowed to visit his wife in prison and only had 3 short phone conversations with her said, “I do not know what they have done to her. When her sister asked her if she was under pressure she did not answer, as if she did not have the power to answer. Unfortunately we do not know what they have done to make Nasrin become oblivious to her own life and safety”.

رضا خندان: ادامه اعتصاب خشك نسرين ستوده
رضا خندان، همسر نسرين ستوده درمصاحبه با "روز" از ادامه اعتصاب غذاي خشک اين حقوقدان خبر داه و ضمن ابراز نگراني از وضعيت همسرش اعلام کرد مسئوليت هر گونه آسيبي به خانم ستوده بر عهده مسئولان قضايي و امنيتي کشور است.
وي همچنين خبر از ملاقات روز گذشته نسيم غنوي، وکيل خانم ستوده با او در زندان اوين مي دهد و مي گويد علاوه بر اتهام اقدام عليه امنيت ملي و تباني و اجتماع، اتهام ديگري نيز به خانم ستوده تفهيم شده که عضويت در کانون مدافعان حقوق بشر است...
آقاي خندان در خصوص وضعيت روحي و جسماني همسرش توضيح ميدهد: "به گفته خانم غنوي، نسرين به شدت لاغر و استخواني شده و حتي قدرت حرف زدن نيز نداشته است.
آقاي خندان كه تاکنون موفق به ملاقات به همسرش نشده و تنها سه مکالمه کوتاه تلفني با همسرش داشته گفت” نميدانم چي بر او گذشته و با او چه کرده اند که خواهرش بعد از ملاقات مي گفت از او پرسيدم تحت فشار هستي؟ هيچ جوابي نداد انگار که قدرت جواب دادن نداشت. متاسفانه خبر نداريم چکار کرده اند که نسرين جانش را ناديده گرفته ودست از جان شسته و به گفته خواهرش انگار ديگر بي خيال زندگي و جانش شده است."
