Population of Combat against Educational Discrimination
Nima Haqar, a Baha’i resident of Tehran, was sentenced to five years of prison on February 1 by the 28th branch of the Revolutionary Court headed by Judge Moqiseh.
Haqar was released from Evin Prison on March 3, 2009 after 37 days of detention. Notably he was summoned to the Intelligence Agency over the phone on February 1, 2009 and was arrested at the Intelligence Agency.

نيما حقار، شهروند بهايي به پنج سال حبس تعزيري محکوم شد
جمعيت مبارزه با تبعيض تحصيلي – نيما حقار، شهروند بهايي ساکن تهران، در ۱۲ بهمن ماه ۱۳۸۹ توسط شعبه ۲۸ دادگاه انقلاب اسلامي به رياست قاضي مقيسه به ۵ سال حبس تعزيري محکوم شد.
نيما حقار در تاريخ ۱۳ اسفند ۱۳۸۷ پس از گذراندن ۳۷ روز از زندان اوين با قيد وثيقه آزاد شده بود.
لازم به ذکر است، وي در تاريخ ۱۳ بهمن ماه ۱۳۸۷ بر اساس تماس تلفني و بدون احضاريه کتبي به وزارت اطلاعات فراخوانده و در همان روز بازداشت گرديده بود. (جمعيت مبارزه باتبعيض تحصيلي – 13/11/89)
