Female political prisoner infected with Hepatitis B in Gohardasht Prison
According to reports, political prisoner Kobra Banazadeh Amirkhizi was infected with Hepatitis B in the Gohardasht Prison infirmary.
This 56 year old political prisoner who was also jailed in the 80’s was taken to the infirmary for so-called treatment and was infected with Hepatitis B because unclean material was used to treat her. She is in very critical condition but intelligence interrogators refuse to allow her treatment outside of prison. Mrs. Banazadeh suffered from an eye injury before this due to torture in cellblock 209 in Evin Prison and being struck on the head and lost a large portion on her eyesight.
Notably, this political prisoner was arrested on January 16, 2009 in the Khomeini Airport when she intended to visit her children and family in Camp Ashraf in Iraq, despite having a visa and passport. She was arrested along with 18 other elderly mothers and fathers and was taken to cellblock 209 in Evin Prison where she was under mental and physical torture by interrogators of the Ministry of Intelligence for several months. Banazadeh was sentenced to five years of prison to be served in Gohardasht Prison in Karaj. (Human Rights and Democracy Activists in Iran – Feb. 28, 2011)
Daughter of female executed political prisoner under pressure and threats one month after mother’s execution
One month after the inhumane death sentence for political prisoner Zahra Bahrami was carried out, interrogators of the Intelligence Agency and Tehran Prosecutor Abbas Jafari Dolat Abadi refuse to hand over her will and personal belongings to her family.
Reza Arefi, an interrogator and torturer who works for the Intelligence Agency in the Sepah Cellblock in Gohardasht Prison in Karaj, summoned Bahrami’s daughter, Banafsheh Naebpour, and her husband some time ago to the Karaj Intelligence Agency and interrogated and threatened them for a prolonged amount of time. Arefi told her that if she called the Dutch Embassy (Zahra Bahrami had a dual Dutch-Iranian nationality) the media or human rights activists she and her husband would be arrested.
He also threatened that they would charge her mother with immoral conduct in a TV show called 20:30 to bring disgrace to their family. Arefi also told them that they were not allowed to put a stone on her grave and no more than 10 people were allowed to go to her gravesite at one time. Female political prisoner in poor condition, denied medical treatment
Political prisoner Zahra Jabari who was arrested on September 18, 2009 during popular protests in Iran, is suffering from a heart problem and is in very poor physical health in Evin Prison but prison doctors and Evin Prison officials have denied her medical treatment.
According to reports, she is suffering from a serious heart ailment and can barely walk because she is also suffering from rheumatism.
After her arrest, she was detained in a solitary cell in Evin Prison for seven months. She was sentenced to four years of prison on charges of acting against national security by Judge Moqiseh and her sentence was upheld by a court of review. She was transferred to the Methadone Cellblock in Evin Prison on November 7, 2010 along with other female political prisoners in this prison. She has been denied the right to a furlough. More than 200 students in Shiraz University banned from education for commemorating their slain classmate
More than 200 students of the Shiraz University have been banned from education by the university’s Disciplinary Committee.
According to reports, these students were banned from education because of participating in a protest gathering and were sentenced to at least two semesters of suspension from university.
The gathering which was held on Wednesday in protest to the killing of a Shiraz University student by security forces was held simultaneously with the February 20 protests. Several students were arrested during the protests. (Kalameh Website – Feb. 26, 2011)

Dissident professor banned from teaching at university

Professor Jalal Hejazi, the founder of Iran’s foundry industry who is also a member of the School of Engineering and Metallurgy was banned from teaching at the Science and Industry University in Tehran.
This prominent professor has a PhD in metallurgy from Birmingham University in Britain.
It seems that banning Professor Jalal Hejazi from teaching at university is in line with removing all dissident and intellectual professors from universities. (Daneshju News – Feb. 26, 2011)

Baha’i man sentenced to three years of prison and a fine

Payam Eghsani, a Baha’i resident of Tehran was sentenced to three years of prison and a 400,000 toman (about 400 dollar) fine by the 28th branch of the Revolutionary Court.
Eghsani was arrested before on January 14, 2009 along with 11 other Baha’is and his home was searched by security forces. (Committee of Human Rights Reporters – Feb. 27, 2011)

Eight people wounded after being shot in Tehran protests
According to reports, security and military forces opened fire on protesters during the protest gatherings on Tuesday and wounded at least 8 people.

مبتلا کردن يکي از زنان زنداني سياسي زندان گوهردشت به بيماري هپاتيت بي
بنابه گزارشات رسيده به "فعالين حقوق بشر و دمکراسي در ايران" زنداني سياسي کبري بنازاده اميرخيزي در بهداري زندان گوهردشت کرج به بيماري «هپاتيت بي» مبتلا شده است .
زنداني سياسي کبري بناززاده اميرخيزي 56 ساله و از زندانيان سياسي دهۀ 60 تحت عنوان درمان به بهداري زندان گوهردشت کرج منتقل و به دليل استفاده از وسايل آلوده در بهداري زندان وي به بيماري هپاتيت بي مبتلا گرديد. وضعيت جسمي او در شرايط بسيار حادي است . ولي بازجويان وزارت اطلاعات اجازۀ درمان در بيمارستانهاي خارج از زندان به وي نمي دهند. خانم بنازاده اميرخيزي پيش از اين در بند 209 بدليل شکنجه هاي وحشيانۀ بازجويان وزارت اطلاعات و زدن ضربه اي به چشمانش دچار خونريزي گرديد و در آستانۀ نابينايي قرار گرفت.
لازم به يادآوري است زنداني سياسي کبري بنازاده اميرخيزي از زندانيان سياسي دهۀ 60 ،در تاريخ 27 دي 1387 هنگامي که از فرودگاه خميني با داشتن ويزا و پاس معتبر قصد ديدار با فرزندانش در قرارگاه اشرف در عراق را داشت. با يورش مامورين وزارت اطلاعات همراه با 18 نفر از مادران و پدران سالخورده دستگير و به سلولهاي انفرادي بند 209 منتقل شدند و چند ماه در اين شکنجه گاه تحت شکنجه هاي جسمي و روحي بازجويان وزارت اطلاعات قرار گرفتند.بازجويان وزارت اطلاعات عليه او پرونده سازي نمودند و پروندۀ وي را به شعبۀ 28 دادگاه انقلاب ارجاع دادند. او توسط محمد مقيسه اي از اعضاي هيئت قتل عام زندانيان سياسي سال 67 مورد محاکمه قرار گرفت و به 5 سال زندان و تبعيد به زندان گوهردشت محکوم شد. تهديدات بازجويان وزارت اطلاعات عليه فرزند خانم بهرامي و عدم تحويل وصيت نامه و وسايل شخصي او
عليرغم اينکه بيش از 1 ماه از اجراي حکم ضد بشري اعدام جانباختۀ راه آزادي مردم ايران زهرا بهرامي مي گذرد ولي هنوز بازجويان وزارت اطلاعات و عباس جعفري دولت آبادي دادستان تهران از تحويل وصيت نامه و وسايل شخصي او به خانواده وي خوداري مي کند.
بازجو رضا عارفي از بازجويان و شکنجه گران وزارت اطلاعات در بند سپاه زندان گوهردشت کرج که ساليان زيادي است به شکنجه و جنايت عليه بشريت در بند سپاه زندان گوهردشت کرج مشغول است، مدتي پيش خانم بنفشه نايپ پور فرزند زهرا بهرامي شهيد راه آزادي مردم ايران و همسرش را به اداره اطلاعات کرج احضار کرد و براي مدت طولاني آنها را مورد بازجويي و تهديد قرار داد.بازجو عارفي با تهديد به خانم بنفشه نايپ پور گفت :که اگر با سفارت هلند ، رسانه هاي گروهي و فعالين حقوق بشري در تماس باشد او و همسرش را دستگير و بازداشت خواهند کرد.بازجو رضا عارفي :در ادامۀ تهديداتش گفت : اگر از مصاحبه با رسانه ها و ارتباط با سفارت هلند و فعالين حقوق بشري خوداري نکني، ما ( وزارت اطلاعات ) در حال تهيۀ برنامۀ تلويزيوني( برنامۀ تحت عنوان 20:30) هستيم که مادرت (شهيد راه آزادي زهرا بهرامي ) را به فساد اخلاقي متهم کنيم و آبروي شما و خانواده تان را ببريم.رضا عارفي در ادامۀ تهديدات خود گفت :که حق قرار دادن سنگ بر آرامگاه مادرش را ندارد و همچنين نبايد بيش از 10 نفر برسر آرامگاه وي حضور يابند. وضعيت بسيار نامناسب جسمي زهرا جباري در زندان اوين
زهرا جباري شهروندي که در تاريخ ۲۷ شهريور ماه ۱۳۸۸ در تظاهرات اعتراضي روز قدس بازداشت شده بود با ناراحتي قلبي مواجه بوده و وضعيت جسمي بدي در زندان اوين دارد، اما پزشکان و مسئولين زندان اوين از رسيدگي پزشکي به وي خودداري ميکنند.
به گزارش «رهانا» سامانه خبري «خانه حقوق بشر ايران» جباري که دچار مشکل حاد قلبي است به علت ابتلا به روماتيسم نيز به سختي ميتواند راه برود و وضعيت عمومي او در زندان در حال حضار بسيار بد است.
زهرا جباري که بعد از بازداشت مدت هفت ماه در سلولهاي انفرادي زندان اوين گذارنده است، از سوي شعبه ۲۸ دادگاه انقلاب به رياست قاضي مقيسه به اتهام «اقدام عليه امنيت ملي» چهار سال حبس تعزيري محکوم شده که اين حکم در دادگاه تجديد نظر نيز به تاييد رسيده است. وي از ۱۶ آبان ماه همره ديگر زنان زنداني سياسي محبوس در زندان اوين به بند متادون اين زندان منتقل شده است. وي تا کنون از حق و امتياز مرخصي استفاده نکرده است. پروفسور جلال حجازي استاد متالوژي دانشگاه علم و صنعت از تدريس محروم شد

پروفسور جلال حجازي، پايهگذار صنعت ريختهگري ايران و عضو هيات علمي دانشکده مهندسي مواد و متالورژي از تدريس در دانشگاه علم و صنعت محروم شده است.
اين چهره برجسته علمي کشور فارغ التحصيل از هنرسراي عالي درسال ۱۳۶۴ ميباشد وي همچنين داراي دکتري در رشته متالوژي صنعتي از دانشگاه بيرمنگهام انگلستان است.
ممنوع التدريس شدن پروفسور جلال حجازي نيز به نظر ميرسد در راستاي پاکسازي کليه اساتيد منتقد و روشنفکر از دانشگاه ها باشد. (دانشجو نيوز – 7/12/89)

پيام اغصاني شهروند بهائي ساکن تهران توسط شعبه ۲۸ دادگاه انقلاب به سه سال حبس تعزيري و پرداخت چهارصد هزار تومان جزاي نقدي محکوم گرديد.
پيام اغصاني پيشتر در ۲۵ دي ۱۳۸۷ به همراه ۱۱ شهروند بهايي ديگر دستگير ومنزلش مورد بازرسي نيروهاي امنيتي قرار گرفته بود. (رهانا – 8/12/89)

زخمي شدن هشت تن از معترضان در چهارراه وليعصر
بنا به گزارشات رسيده، در جريان تجمعات اعتراضي مردمي امروز (سه شنبه)، نيروهاي نطامي و امنيتي به سوي مردم شليک کرده که در پي اين تبر اندازي ها دست کم هشت نفر مجروح شده اند.
بر اساس اين گزارش، موتورسيکلتسوارهاي لباس شخصي و موتورسيکلتسوارهاي پليس در چهارراه وليعصر به سمت مردم شليک کردهاند که اين امر باعث زخمي شدن هشت نفر شده است. (نداي سبز آزادي – 11/12/89)
