More than 40 people hanged in Ahwaz in past 7 months
The Revolutionary and Public Prosecutor in Ahwaz said that more than 40 people were executed in the past 7 months in this town.
“We intend to carry out the flogging sentences of robbers in public and are looking to bring other prisoners who have committed robberies to the location where the sentence is being carried out; armed robbers will also be paraded [and insulted] around the city”, the prosecutor said.
“[Death] sentences are still being carried out and if the head of the Judiciary agrees, these sentences will be carried out in public”, he said adding that more than 40 death sentences were carried out in the last 7 months. (Human Rights Activists in Iran – Feb. 27, 2011)

Iran hangs 7 prisoners in Jiroft and Bam

The death sentence for seven people who were sentenced to death by Revolutionary Courts in Bam and Jiroft on drug charges was carried out after it was upheld by Iran’s Attorney General.
According to this report, their requests for amnesty or a sentence commutation was rejected by the Amnesty Commission of the Central and Provincial Judiciary. (Committee of Human Rights Reporters – Mar. 2, 2011)

Nine prisoners hanged in Orumieh Prison in mass execution
On the dawn of Monday, February 28, nine prisoners were hanged in the yard of the Central Orumieh Prison on orders of judicial officials.
According to reports, from the nine executed prisoners, seven were Kurds, two were Azari and there were two women among them.
All of these prisoners were convicted with drug related charges.
There were also unconfirmed reports that two other prisoners were hanged on February 28. (Human Rights Activists in Iran – Mar. 1, 2011)

Iran hangs 3 prisoners in Adel Abad Prison in Shiraz

Three prisoners in the Adel Abad Prison in Shiraz who were sentenced to death by the 2nd, 4th and 6th branches of the Revolutionary Court in Shiraz were hanged.
Fars Province Judiciary’s Public Relations Office identified these men who were hanged on drug related charges as A.A, H.R, and S.K.G.
Their sentences were carried out after it was upheld by the Supreme Court and the Attorney General. (Human Rights Activists in Iran – Mar. 2, 2011)

Iran executes man in Khomein Shahr

A 24 year old man identified as Mahmoud Alayi was hanged in the Khomein Shahr Prison yard on Wednesday morning on charges of possessing narcotics.
According to the state-run IRNA news agency, his death sentence was carried out in the presence of judicial officials, security officials and the Medical Examiner in Khomein Shahr Prison at 6:30 am after it was finalized by the Attorney General. Iran executes two prisoners in Orumieh Prison

In the waves of executions in Orumieh, two Kurd prisoners were hanged in the Central Orumieh Prison on Thursday March 3.
According to reports, Iraj Hossein Nejadian from the Anbi Village and Behrouz Shokohi from the Nichlan Village in Orumieh were hanged in this prison.

Security forces shoot and kill another Kurd carrier in Sardasht

On the night of Tuesday, March 1, 2011, security forces killed a trader after opening fire on him in the Sardasht border region.
According to reports, Fereidoun Ismail Zadeh, a Kurd carrier was killed in the Miravi region and a number of livestock who carried goods were also killed.
His body was reportedly buried in Mahabad where he lived.
A carrier is a local phrase used for those who carry goods from the border on their backs without any other facilities.
experts on Kurdistan affairs believe that because of the lack of economical programs, unemployment and poverty in the Kurdistan border regions, a large number of people are forced to carry goods and trade through the border to make a living. (Human Rights Activists in Iran – Mar. 2, 2011)

Political prisoner one step closer to execution

The family of death row political prisoner Hamid Qasemi Shal has announced that this Iranian-Canadian man is in danger of execution. They have asked international institutions and all those who can help not to let the ‘blood of an innocent person be spilled’.
Qasemi Shal has been in prison since June 13, 2008 and has been sentenced to death by the 29th branch of the Revolutionary Court on charges of espionage and having links to the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran. His sentence was upheld by the Supreme Court and he is on the verge of execution because his request for amnesty was rejected.
His sister says that her brother was not involved in any political activities and that there is no evidence that proves the charges brought against him which has led to the death sentence. (Human Rights Activists in Iran – Feb. 28, 2011)

اعدام

اجراي بيش از‌٤٠ مورد اعدام طي ‌٧ ماه گذشته در اهواز
دادستان عمومي و انقلاب اهواز از اعدام بيش از ۴۰ نفر در طي ۷ ماه گذشته در اين شهر خبر داد.
دادستان عمومي و انقلاب اهواز در اولين همايش مشترک قضايي انتظامي بررسي راهکارهاي مبارزه با سرقت، گفت: "قصد داريم که مجازات شلاق سارقان را به طور علني اجرا کنيم و درصدد هستيم تا ساير زندانيان مرتبط با جرم سرقت نيز در محل اجراي حکم حضور داشته باشند؛ سارقان مسلح نيز از اين پس در شهر گردانده مي‌شوند"
وي هم چنين از اجراي بيش از ۴۰ مورد حکم اعدام در هفت ماه گذشته خبر داد و افزود: "اجراي احکام همچنان ادامه دارد و در صورت موافقت رييس قوه قضاييه اين احکام به صورت علني اجرا مي‌شوند." (هرانا – 8/12/89)

حکم اعدام ۷ نفر در زندان‌هاي جيرفت و بم اجرا شد

حکم هفت شهروند به اتهام «قاچاق مواد مخدر» که بر اساس احکام صادر شده از دادگاه‌هاي انقلاب بم و جيرفت به اعدام محکوم شده بودند، پس از تاييد دادستاني کل کشور به مرحله اجرا درآمد...
بر پايه اين خبر، با درخواست عفو و تخفيف درمجازات اين محکومان در کميسيون عفو دادگستري استان و مرکز مخالفت شده بود. (رهانا – 11/12/89)

اعدام ۹ نفر در زندان مرکزي اروميه
بامداد روز دوشنبه، نهم اسفندماه ۱۳۸۹، ۹ نفر از زندانيان عادي در محوطهٔ زندان مرکزي شهر اروميه به دستور مراجع قضايي جمهوري اسلامي به‌صورت جمعي به‌دار آويخته شدند.
بنا‌به اطلاع گزارشگران هرانا، ارگان خبري مجموعه فعالان حقوق‌بشر در ايران، از ۹ نفري که روز گذشته اعدام شده‌اند، ۷ تن از آنها از شهروندان کرد و ۲ تن ديگر نيز آذري بوده‌اند و هم‌چنين دو زن نيز در ميانشان ديده مي‌شوند.
اتهام تمامي افراد اعدام شده از سوي مراجع قضايي ”جرائم مربوط به مواد مخدر“ عنوان شده است.
گفتني‌ست که گزارش‌هاي غيرموثق حاکي از اعدام دو تن ديگر در روز ۹ اسفندماه است که خبرگزاري هرانا براي تأييد اين مهم نيازمند اسناد بيشتري ست. (سايت هرانا- 10/12/89)

سه نفر در زندان عادل آباد شيراز به دار آويخته شدند

۳ نفر در زندان عادل آباد شيراز که پيشتر با صدور دادنامه‌هايي از سوي شعب دوم و چهارم و ششم دادگاه انقلاب شيراز اعدام محکوم شده بودند، به دار آويخته شدند.
روابط عمومي دادگستري استان فارس، هويت اين افراد را که به اتهام جرايم مربوط به مواد مخدر اعدام شده‌اند، "الف-ع"، "ح-ر"، "ص-ک-گ" عنوان کرده است.
گفتني است احکام اين سه نفر پس از تأييد ديوانعالي کشور و دادستان کل کشور به اجرا در آمده است. (هرانا – 11/12/89)

اعدام يک شهروند در خميني‌شهر

يک جوان ۲۴ ساله به نام محمود اعلايي صبح روز چهارشنبه در محوطه زندان خميني شهر به اتهام «نگهداري مواد مخدر» اعدام شد.
به گزارش ايرنا، حکم اعدام محمود اعلايي پس از صدور راي دادگاه تجديد نظر و تاييد نهايي آن توسط دادستاني کل کشور با حضور مسوولين قضايي، انتظامي و پزشکي قانوني در محوطه زندان خميني شهر در ساعت شش و نيم صبح امروز اجرا شد.

دو نفر در زندان مرکزي اروميه اعدام شدند

در پي موج اعدام هاي بي رويه در اروميه، روز پنج شنبه ۱۲ اسفندماه نيز، دو زنداني کرد در زندان مرکزي اروميه اعدام شدند.
بنا به اطلاع گزارشگران هرانا، ارگان خبري مجموعه فعالان حقوق بشر در ايران، "ايرج حسن نژاديان" اهل روستاي "انبي" و "بهروز شکوهي" اهل روستاي "نيچلان" منطقهٔ "ترگور" اروميه، در زندان مرکزي شهر اروميه به دار آويخته شدند.

قتل خودسرانه

کشته شدن يک کولبر در سردشت توسط نيروهاي انتظامي

شامگاه روز سه‌شنبه دهم اسفندماه بر اثر تيراندازي نيروهاي انتظامي در مناطق مرزي سردشت يک فرد کاسب کشته شد.
به گزارش زمانه، فريدون اسماعيل‌زاده شهروند کرد به علت شليک مستقيم نيروهاي انتظامي در منطقه مرزي "ميراوي" جان خود را از دست داد و در اين رويداد شماري از احشام بارکش نيز کشته شدند.
گفته ميشود جسد اين شهروند در شهر مهاباد محل سکونت وي به خاک سپرده شده است.
"کولبر" اصطلاحي محلي است و در واقع به کساني گفته ميشود که حمل و نقل کالا از مرزها را با استفاده از "کول" خود و بدون هرگونه وسيله اي انجام ميدهند.
کارشناسان مسائل کردستان بر اين باورند، در مناطق مرزي کردستان به علت نبود برنامه‌هاي توسعه اقتصادي، بيکاري و فقر، شمار زيادي از شهروندان به منظور امرار معاش به حمل کالاها و داد و ستدهاي مرزي روي ميآورند. (هرانا – 11/12/89)



حكم اعدام

حميد قاسمي شال در آستانه اعدام قرار دارد

خانواده حميد قاسمي شال اعلام کردند اين شهروند ايراني - کانادايي در خطر اجراي حکم اعدام است. آن‌ها همچنين از نهادهاي بين المللي و همه کساني که مي‌توانند کمک کنند درخواست کردند «اجازه ندهند خون بي‌گناهي ريخته شود».
قاسمي شال که از ۲۴ خرداد ۸۷ در زندان به سر مي‌برد متهم به جاسوسي و ارتباط با سازمان مجاهدين خلق و از سوي شعبه ۲۹ دادگاه انقلاب به اعدام محکوم شده است. اين حکم در ديوان عالي کشور تاييد و با رد درخواست عفو او از سوي کميسيون عفو و بخشودگي در آستانه اجرا قرار گرفته است.
خواهر آقاي قاسمي شال مي‌گويد که برادرش هيچ نوع فعاليت سياسي نداشته و هيچ مدرکي دال بر اثبات اتهامات منتسب به او و صدور حکم اعدام در پرونده موجود نيست. (هرانا – 9/12/89)
