All female political prisoners in Evin Prison were transferred to the quarantine methadone cellblock in the female section of this prison.
After reports that the phone lines used by female political prisoners were cut off in the past few days, a non political prisoner said today in a phone call that all women in the political room were transferred to the quarantine methadone cellblock since Wednesday and all their sources of communication with the outside world has been cut off.
Prison officials have banned these prisoners from leaving the methadone cellblock even for time in the fresh air or participating in the cultural classes in the female cellblock and there is no information on their health.
Their lack of communication with the outside world and the fact that they have been transferred to a cellblock used to help addicted prisoners quit drugs has raised concerns for the families of these political prisoners. These families have had no news on their loved ones for the last five days…
The increase of pressure on female prisoners comes after the head of this prison changed last week. After this change, jailed student activist Bahareh Hedayat, who was in charge of the female section’s prison library, was removed of her responsibility and all the telephone lines used to communicate with the outside world were subsequently cut off.
انتقال تمامي زندانيان سياسي زن به بند متادون اوين
تمامي زندانيان سياسي زن در زندان اوين به قرنطينه متادون بند نسوان منتقل شده اند.
براساس گزارش هاي رسيده به کلمه، در حالي که در روزهاي گذشته، اخباري مبني بر قطع ارتباطات تلفني زنان زنداني سياسي منتشر شده بود، امروز يکي از زندانيان عادي در تماسي از زندان، خبر داده که تمامي زنان اتاق سياسي از چهارشنبه شب به قرنطينه متادون انتقال يافتهاند و تمامي ارتباطات و تماسهاي آنان با دنياي خارج قطع شده است.
مسئولان زندان تاکنون از خروج زنان سياسي از قرنطينه جهت هواخوري و يا شرکت در کلاسهاي فرهنگي بند نسوان نيز خودداري کردهاند و از وضع سلامتي اين زنان زنداني هيچگونه اطلاعي در دست نيست.
قطع تماسهاي زنان زنداني و انتقال آنان به قرنطينه متادون که محل نگهداري مجرمين معتاد بوده و جهت ترک اعتياد از آن استفاده ميشود، نگراني خانوادههاي زندانيان سياسي زن را در پي داشته است. اين خانوادهها در طي پنج روز گذشته در بيخبري مطلق از وضعيت عزيزان خود به سر ميبرند...
افزايش فشارها بر زنان زنداني پس از آن صورت ميگيرد که هفته گذشته رياست زندان اوين تغيير کرد. در پي اين تغييرات، ابتدا ” بهاره هدايت” فعال دانشجويي زنداني، که مسئوليت کتابخانه بند زنان را بر عهده داشت، از اين مسئوليت کنار گذاشته شد و سپس تماس هاي تلفني زنان با خارج از زندان قطع شد. (كلمه – 16/8/89)
