Iran fatally shoots two Kurd citizens in border region
In the past few days, two Kurd citizens were killed in the border region of Piranshahr after being shot by security forces.
Security forces opened direct fire on Osman Mohammadi and Mahmoud Minehzadeh killing them.
The bodies of these two border merchants were buried after one day in Mahabad.
Some news sources in Kurdistan have reported that 18 Kurd citizens were killed in the past two months in Kurdistan’s borders. (Ravanews website – Dec. 14, 2010)

Four killed and dozens injured in Tehran’s Ashura protests
Today at about 10 am, people gathered to mourn (in the Ashura mourning ceremony) in Imam Hossein Square and to protest and show their opposition towards the government.
The crowds were going towards Enqelab Square from Imam Hossein Square chanting ‘Allah O Akbar’ when they were attacked by security forces in Valiasr Intersection. The security forces shot in the air and used tear gas to disperse the crowds and from then on, the streets of central Tehran witnessed painful scenes.
People gathered and chanted slogans wherever they could at every opportunity and the security forces, Bassij forces and plainclothes agents equipped with various tools for suppression attacked the defenseless people and shot at the crowds when they could do nothing else. According to reports, at least 4 people were killed and dozens were injured in these clashes. (Nouroz Website – Dec. 16, 2010)


Deaths in custody

Lack of medical treatment leads to death of prisoner in Rajayi Shahr Prison
A few hours ago, a prisoner in the Rajayi Shahr (Gohardasht) Prison in Karaj passed away after suffering a brain stroke and not receiving medical attention.
At about 2:40 pm today, Ali Mohammadi, a 55 year old prisoner who was detained in Hall 10, Cellblock 4 in this prison on financial charges suffered a brain stroke but infirmary heads did not take him to the infirmary and the indifference of the infirmary finally led to his death.
This is the third time that a financial prisoner dies in this prison as a result of mental pressure and lack of timely and suitable medical treatment. (Student Committee in Defense of Political Prisoners – Dec. 13, 2010)

قتل خودسرانه

کشته شدن دوتن از شهروندان کرد در مناطق مرزي پيرانشهر
طي روزهاي گذشته بر اثر تيراندازي نيروهاي امنيتي و انتظامي دو تن از شهروندان کرد در مناطق مرزي پيرانشهر کشته شدند.
به گزارش روانيوز، "عثمان محمدي" و "محمود مينه زاده" در منطقه ي مرزي "شينکي" از توابع شهر پيرانشهر بر اثر شليک مستقيم نيروهاي انتظامي و امنيتي کشه شدند.
جسد اين دو فرد کاسب پس از يک روز در شهر مهاباد به خاک سپرده شد.
اين درحاليست که برخي از منابع خبري کردستان از کشته شدن 18 نفر از شهروندان کرد طي دو ماه اخير در مرزهاي کردستان خبر داده اند. (روانيوز – 23/9/89)

4 نفر در تهران كشته و دهها نفر مجروح شدند
امروز صبح ساعت 10 مردم سبز طبق برنامه اعلامي در ميدان امام حسين براي عزاداري سالار و سرور شهيدان و آزادگان جمع شدند تا راهپيمايي اعتراض خود را نسبت به وضعيت حاکم ...اعلام کنند.
سيل جمعيت با شعارهاي الله اکبر، ياحسين، … از ميدان امام حسين بسوي ميدان انقلاب و تا مقصد ميدان آزادي به‌راه افتاد و هرلحظه بر جمعيت افزوده مي‌شد که نيروهاي نظامي و امنيتي کمين کرده در چهارراه ولي عصر حمله و هجوم به جمعيت تظاهرکننده را آغاز کردند و با استفاده از شليک تير هوايي و پرتاب گاز اشک‌آور و فلفل و… به از هم پاشي جمعيت اقدام کردند و از اين پس خيابانهاي مرکزي تهران شاهد صحنه‌هايي بس دردناک و تلخ در روزعاشورا بود.
مردم سبز در هرکجا که فرصتي مي‌يافتند تجمع کرده و شعار مي‌دادند و نيروهاي نظامي و انتظامي و بسيجي و لباس‌شخصي مجهز به آلات سرکوب براين جمعيتها هجوم برده و مردم بي‌دفاع را مورد هجوم قرار مي‌دادند و هرجا هم کم مي‌آورند مبادرت به تيراندازي مي‌کردند که بنا براخبار حداقل 4نفر شهيد و ده‌ها نفر در اين وقايع مجروح شدند. مرگهاي مشكوك در بازداشت

فوت يکي ديگر از زندانيان تبعيدگاه رجايي شهر
ساعاتي پيش يکي از زندانيان زندان رجايي شهر کرج به علت عارضه مغزي و بي توجهي مسئولان اين زندان جان خود را از دست داد.
به گزارش کميته دانشجويي دفاع از زندانيان سياسي، ساعت 14:40 دقيقه امروز، بيست و دوم آذرماه، علي محمدي، زنداني 55 ساله مالي سالن 10 بند 4 زندان رجايي شهر کرج به علت عارضه مغري دچار سکته مغزي گرديد که با وجود اين مساله، مسئولان بهداري اين زندان مدت زيادي از انتقال اين زنداني به بهداري خودداري نمودند که سهل انگاري مسئولان بهداري نهايتا منجر به مرگ اين زنداني گرديد.
طي روزهاي اخير اين سومين بار است که يکي از زندانيان مالي اين زندان به علت فشارهاي روحي و رواني و همچنين عدم رسيدگي به موقع و مناسب بهداري اين زندان جان خود را از دست مي دهد. (كميته دانشجويي دفاع از زندانيان سياسي - 22/9/89)
