Human Rights Activists in Iran
Abolfazl Abedini, a former member of the Human Rights Activists in Iran who has recently been sentenced to 11 years of prison has been transferred to the infirmary in Evin Prison.
This human rights activist was severely beaten by security forces upon his arrival in Cellblock 2A in Evin Prison and after resisting the torture for a few hours, was taken to the prison infirmary because he could not bear the severe blows as he suffers from a serious case of 'mitral valve prolapse'
