Iran amputates the hands of 5 people in Hamedan

Akbar Bigleri, the prosecutor of Hamedan said that crimes are divided into two groups which include personal crimes and crimes related to God.
“Robbery is a crime that has two aspects and is in both groups and if the criminal is granted amnesty by the complainant, in the end he/she will be convicted because the aspect as related to God still exists”, he said.
“The five robbers, whose sentences were carried out in the Hamedan Prison, were all above 25 years old”…
“When a hand gets used to stealing and causes harassment for the people, it has to be cut short”, he added…
He said regarding not carrying out the sentence in public, “The global arrogance (the west) misuses the implementation of these sentence and claims that Iran violates human rights”.

اکبر بيگلري دادستان همدان با اشاره به اينکه جرايم به دو دسته تقسيم مي شوند و برخي شخصي و برخي ديگر حق اللهي است اظهارداشت: سرقت جز جرايم دو جنبه اي است و هردو را شامل مي شود که اگر متهم رضايت شاکي را جلب کند در نهايت محکوم مي شود چرا که جنبه حق اللهي جرم هنوز باقي مانده است.
وي در خصوص مشخصات سارقين و جرايم آنها بيان داشت: 5 سارقي که حکم قطع يد آنها امروز در زندان مرکزي همدان اجراشد ميانگين سنيشان بالاي 25 سال بوده است...
بيگلري گفت: زماني که دستي به سرقت عادت کرد و باعث آزار مردم شد بايد کوتاه شود.
وي در خصوص اجرا نشدن حکم در ملاء عام اظهار داشت: استکبار جهاني از اجراي اين حکم سو استفاده مي کند و ادعا دارد که ايران حقوق بشر را رعايت نمي کند. (ايلنا – 31/4/89)
