Female university students will be forced to study only in universities close to home
The assistant head of Student Affairs at the Ministry of Science (higher education) cited a plan in which female university students would be transferred to universities and other educational facilities closest to their homes and said, “This issue has been brought up and discussed in the Ministry and will soon be officially announced”.
He said that students can continue their education in their chosen majors as permanent guests and receive their degree from the university they were accepted in and stressed that ‘this plan is effective in all universities and higher learning facilities in the country’. Human rights activist sentenced to six years of prison and 74 lashes
A human rights activist’s lawyer said that his client was sentenced to six years of prison and 74 lashes. Mohammad Sharif said, “Shivar Nazar Ahari was sentenced to three years and six months of prison on charges of waging war with God to be served in the prison in the town of Izeh, two years of prison on charges of assembling and conspiring to commit a crime and six months of prison on charges of propagating against the government. She was also sentenced to 74 lashes or 400,000 tomans instead. This human rights activist was sentenced by the 26th branch of the Revolutionary Court headed by Judge Pir Abbasi. Iran to lash so-called street harassers
The punishment for those who harass women and children on the street or in public places is 2 to 6 months of prison and up to 74 lashes. Of course if this crime is the result of a prior conspiracy or carried out in group, each one of the convicts will be sentenced to the maximum punishment. (Fars state-run News Agency – Sep. 15, 2010)
Iran security agents raid Moussavi’s office
Iranian security agents have raided the office of opposition leader Mir Hossein Moussavi, his website Kaleme.com reported on Thursday.
‘Last night, security agents raided the office of Mir Hossein Moussavi. They searched the premises and took some equipment... the agents took computers from the office,' the website said. (AFP - Sept 16, 2010)

انتقال دانشجويان دختر به نزديكترين دانشگاه محل سكونت
معاون دانشجويي وزارت علوم به طرح انتقال دانشجويان دختر دانشگاه‌ها و موسسات آموزش عالي به نزديكترين دانشگاه محل سكونتشان اشاره كرد و گفت: اين موضوع در وزارتخانه مطرح و مورد بررسي قرار گرفت و بزودي طي بخشنامه به طور رسمي اعلام مي‌شود .
وي با بيان اينكه اين دانشجويان مي‌توانند تا پايان تحصيلات خود در آن واحد دانشگاهي به عنوان مهمان دائم ادامه تحصيل دهند و مدرك خود را از دانشگاهي كه قبول شده‌اند دريافت كنند، تأكيد كرد: اين طرح در تمام دانشگاه‌ها و موسسات آموزش عالي سراسر كشور قابل اجراست. (خبرگزاري بين المللي زنان ايران – 24/6/89)
محكوميت شيوا نظرآهاري به 6 سال حبس تعزيري و 76 ضربه شلاق
وکيل شيوانظرآهارى از محکوميت موکل خود به شش سال حبس تعزيرى و ۷۶ ضربه شلاق خبر داد. محمد شريف در گفت‌وگو با خبرنگارايلنا با اعلام اين مطلب اظهارداشت:
شيوا نظر آهارى از سوى شعبه ۲۶ دادگاه انقلاب بهرياست قاضى پيرعباسى به اتهام محاربه به سه سال و شش ماه حبس تعزيرى در تبعيد در زندان شهرستان ايذه، دو سال حبس به اتهام اجتماع و تبانى جهت ارتکاب جرم و شش ماه حبس به اتهام تبليغ عليه نظام و پرداخت ۴۰۰هزار تومان بدل از ۷۶ ضربه شلاق محکوم شده است. 6 ماه زندان و 74 ضربه شلاق، كيفر مزاحمت براي زنان و کودکان
كيفر مزاحمت به بانوان و اطفال در معابر و اماكن عمومي حبس از 2 تا 6 ماه و تا 74 ضربه شلاق خواهد بود البته هر گاه اين جرم در نتيجه توطئه‌قبلي و دسته‌جمعي واقع شود هر يك از مرتكبين به حداكثر مجازات مقرر محكوم خواهند شد. (فارس – 24/6/89)

وب سايت كلمه روز پنجشنبه گفت ماموران امنيتى ايران به دفتر ميرحسين موسوى رهبر اپوزيسيون ايران حمله كردند.
وب سايت متعلق به موسوى گفت ”ديشب ماموران امنيتى به دفتر ميرحسين موسوى حمله كردند. آنها دفتر را مورد جستجو قرار داده و بعضى از اقلام را با خود بردند… . ماموران كامپيوترها را از دفتر كار با خود بردند ”. (خبرگزارى فرانسه - 25/6/89)
