Human Rights Activists in Iran :
The prison sentence for human rights activist and blogger Abdolreza Ahmadi who was arrested on March 3, 2010 was upheld by the court of review and his three year prison term was finalized.
According to reports, before this, the 26th branch of the Revolutionary Court presided over by Judge Pir Abbasi sentenced him to three years of prison on charges of acting against national security and instigating public opinion by being a member of the Human Rights Activists in Iran Organization and cooperating with the One-Million Signature Campaign [group striving for a change in the misogynous constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran].
