Four student activists in Gorgan and four political activists in Mahalat were sentenced to prisoner terms.
The Revolutionary Court in Gorgan issued the sentences for four students in this city who were jailed for 10 days before this. According to this sentence, Mobin Mir Arab was sentenced to four years of prison, Hossein Matlubi to 18 months, Alireza Rahnamayi to 15 months and Saman Bozorgi was sentenced to one year of prison. They were charged with acting against national security and spreading propaganda against the government.
According to other reports, the Mahalat Revolutionary Court sentence four political activists and supporters of the Green Movement in this city to prison terms.
According to the issued sentences, Mehdi Yar Mohammadi was sentenced to one year and six months of prison, Reza Alikhani (an activist in Moussavi’s election campaign) was sentenced to 10 months of suspended prison for five years, Hesamoddin Alami was sentenced to nine months of prison suspended for four years while Ali Shahbazi was sentenced to six months of prison suspended for three years.
These political activists were charged with acting against national security.
Mohammad-Ali Elahi, another activist in this city is still in prison.

صدور احکام زندان براي هشت فعال دانشجويي و سياسي در گرگان و محلات
چهار فعال دانشجويي در گرگان و چهار فعال سياسي در محلات، به حبس تعزيري و تعليقي محکوم شدند.
به گزارش دانشجونيوز، دادگاه انقلاب گرگان احکام ۴ تن از دانشجويان اين شهر را که پيشتر به مدت ۱۰ روز بازداشت بودند صادر نمود. طبق اين حکم مبين ميرعرب به ۴ سال، حسين مطلوبي به ۱۸ ماه، عليرضا رهنمايي به ۱۵ ماه و سامان بزرگي به ۱ سال حبس تعزيري محکوم شدند.
اتهام اين افراد اقدام عليه امنيت ملي و تبليغ عليه نظام اعلام شده است.
همچنين آن‌طور که جرس گزارش داده، دادگاه انقلاب شهرستان محلات، چهار تن از فعالين سياسي و حاميان جنبش سبز در شهرستان محلات را به حبس محکوم کرد.
بر اساس احکام صادر شده، مهدي يارمحمدي، به تحمل يک سال وشش ماه حبس تعزيري، رضا عليخاني (از فعالين ستاد ميرحسين موسوي) به ده ماه حبس تعليق به مدت پنج سال، حسام الدين علامي به نه ماه حبس تعليق به مدت چهار سال و علي شهبازي به شش ماه حبس تعليق به مدت سه سال محکوم شده‌اند.
اتهام اين افراد نيز "اتهام عليه امنيت ملي" اعلام شده بود.
اين گزارش خاطرنشان مي‌سازد محمدعلي الهي، از فعالين جنبش سبز در آن شهرستان، همچنان در زندان به سر مي‌برد. (هرانا – 7/4/89)
