600.000 children officially work in Iran

According to statistics, currently 380,000 children who are between 10 to 14 years of age are permanent workers and about 360,000 children work as seasonal workers. In reality, 600,000 children are officially working in Iran.
In addition to the great psychological and physical harm which child workers are subjected to, because they are actually banned from working based on current laws and rules, they are not covered by the Labor Law and social services.
These statistics were published even as thousands of other children are undoubtedly working unofficially in the country.

به گزارش مهر، بر اساس آمارهاي موجود، هم اکنون ۳۸۰ هزار کودک ۱۰ تا ۱۴ ساله در سراسر کشور به صورت ثابت مشغول به کار هستند و حدود ۳۶۰ هزار کودک نيز به عنوان کارگر فصلي فعاليت دارند. در واقع ۶۰۰ هزار کودک رسما در ايران کار مي‌کنند...

علاوه بر آسيب‌ها و صدمات فراوان رواني و جسمي که از ناحيه فعاليتهاي حرفه‌اي و به ويژه اشکال دشوار کار به کودکان کارگر وارد مي‌شود، به دليل ممنوع بودن اشتغال به موجب قوانين و مقررات موجود، از شمول مفاد قوانين کار و تامين اجتماعي نيز خارج هستند.

اين آمار در حالي منتشر مي شود که بي شک هزاران کودک نيز به صورت غير رسمي در کشور به فعاليت اقتصادي مي پردازند. (مهر – 4/5/90)
