68-year-old Tehran Bazaar merchant dies in hospital after being stabbed by regime forces

Following a security atmosphere and tension in the Bazaar, mostly all businesses have closed in protest to the lack of agreement with the tax office about the tax policy of 1388 (2009)… Plainclothes agents with the backing of units of the State Security Forces attacked the fabric shops and damaged the property of the merchants. There are also unconfirmed reports that in today’s clashes, Haj Azizollah Kashani, a well known figure in the fabric business in the Tehran Bazaar was wounded after he was stabbed by plainclothes agents and was taken to hospital

A 68-year-old Bazaar merchant was killed in the afternoon in the Bazaar. Azizollah Kashahni, a fabric merchant who was stabbed by Bassij forces died in the hospital
