In the ongoing suppression of religious minorities in Iran, another Baha’i citizen was sentenced to three years of prison by the Babol Revolutionary Court.
According to reports, Moshtaq Samandari who is a resident of Babol was sentenced to three years of prison on charges of disrespecting Islam by advertising Baha’ism.
He was arrested by security forces last June and his sentence was issued based on this case

يک شهروند بهايي به سه سال حبس محکوم شد
در تدوام سرکوب اقلييت هاي مذهبي در ايران يک شهروند بهايي از سوي دادگاه انقلاب بابل به 3 سال حبس تعزيري محکوم شد.
بنا به اطلاع گزارشگران هرانا، مشتاق سمندري شهروند بهايي ساکن بابل به اتهام اهانت به دين اسلام از طريق تبليغ ديانت بهايي از سوي دادگاه انقلاب شهرستان مذکور به تحمل سه سال حبس تعزيري محکوم شد. لازم به ذکر است نامبرده در اواخر خرداد ماه سال گذشته توسط نيروهاي امنيتي بازداشت و حکم فوق بر اساس همين پرونده صادر شده است.
