Hassan Asadi Zeid Abadi and Ali Jamali, two members of the Central Council of the Office for Consolidating Unity were arrested on August 22 in Tehran.
Security forces arrested Zeid Abadi, the head of the Human Rights Committee in this organization in his home and Ali Jamali, the head of the Political Committee was arrested in his place of work.
Currently a number of the top members of this organization including Ahmad Zied Abadi (Secretary General), Abdollah Momeni (spokesman), and Ali Malihi (head of Public Relations) are in prison.
Hassan Asadi Zeid Abadi was arrested before this on November 3, 2009 and released about 40 days later on December 13.
He was trialed on August 3 in the 28th branch of the Tehran Revolutionary Court by Judge Moqiseh on charges of ‘assembling and conspiring against national security, propagating against the government, disrupting public order and insulting the president’. This court has yet to issue a verdict.

بازداشت حسن اسدي و علي جمالي، دو فعال دانشجويي
حسن اسدي زيدآبادي و علي جمالي، از اعضاي شوراي مرکزي سازمان دانش آموختگان ايران (ادوار تحکيم وحدت)، روز يکشنبه ۳۱ مرداد ۱۳۸۹ (۲۲ اوت ۲۰۱۰) در تهران بازداشت شدند.
ماموران امنيتي آقاي اسدي زيدآبادي مسئول کميته حقوق بشر اين سازمان را عصر يکشنبه در منزل خود و علي جمالي مسئول کميته سياسي اين سازمان را همان زمان در محل کارش بازداشت کرده اند.
در حال حاضر چند نفر از اعضاي بلندپايه سازمان دانش آموختگان ايران (ادوار تحکيم وحدت) از جمله احمد زيدآبادي (دبيرکل)، عبدالله مومني (سخنگو)، و علي مليحي (مسئول روابط عمومي) در زندان هستند.
حسن اسدي زيدآبادي پيش از اين يک بار ديگر در روز ۱۲ آبان ۱۳۸۸ بازداشت و بعد از حدود ۴۰ روز حبس در روز ۲۲ آذر همان سال آزاد شده بود.
دادگاه آقاي اسدي زيدآبادي روز ۱۲ مرداد ۱۳۸۹ در شعبه ۲۸ دادگاه انقلاب تهران به رياست قاضي مقيسه برگزار شد و آقاي اسدي به اتهام "اجتماع و تباني عليه امنيت نظام"، "تبليغ عليه نظام"، "اخلال در نظم عمومي" و "توهين به رييس جمهور" محاکمه شد. حکم اين دادگاه هنوز صادر نشده است. (ادوار نيوز – 1/6/89)
