Security forces fatally shoot young Baluch man in Zahedan
According to reports, agents of Police Station 19 in Zahedan opened fire on an automobile killing the driver.
The driver was identified as Khoda Nazar Narouyi and was carrying fuel from Zahedan as a way of providing money for his family.
In light of the fact that Baluch residents are deprived of various jobs because of their religion and ethnicity, carrying fuel from various areas to the border region is one of the ways many of them have chosen to make a living.
To cover up this fact, state run media in many cases report that the reason for their death is car accidents. (Baluchistan Human Rights Activists Association – Aug. 15, 2010)



Female political activist in danger of receiving death sentence
According to reports, Salavati, the head of the 15th branch of the Revolutionary Court intends to issue a death sentence or life in prison sentence for Zahra Bahrami who has a dual Dutch Iranian nationality. She was arrested in the Ashura protests (Dec. 27, 2009).
On Monday August 17, Bahrami, 45, who has been kept in an undetermined state in the notorious cellblock 209 in Evin Prison for more than 8 months, was taken to the 15th branch of the Revolutionary Court headed by Salavati.
“You will be either given the death sentence or life in prison”, the judge told her.
Bahrami refused to defend herself because she did not have a lawyer and announced that she would only defend herself in the presence of a lawyer. After her protest, Salavati suspended the court session for another 10 days. Bahrami is still denied the right to a lawyer.
She has been charged with waging war with God, propagating against the government, being an active member of a monarchist association and forming an anti-government grouplet. Bahrami has denied all the charges and said that they were all extracted from confessions that she was forced into under physical and mental torture.
This 45 year old political prisoner is a mother of two and has a dual Dutch-Iranian nationality. She came to Iran to see her child and was arrested in the Ashura protests. She was then mentally and physically tortured while detained. Intelligence interrogators in the Sepah Cellblock in Gohardasht Prison and in cellblock 209 in Evin Prison have put her under severe pressure and torture and forced her into giving televised confessions against herself which was broadcasted from state-run TV. Man sentenced to death on fabricated charges of murder of security forces

According to reports, Amir-Abbas Tavakoli Berazjani was sentenced to death by the 71st branch of the Tehran Penal Court on false charges including murdering security forces.
On Tuesday August 17, Berazjani was taken to the Tehran Penal Court without prior notice and was trialed by Norollah Aziz Mohammadi. This prisoner is detained in cellblock 6 in Gohardasht Prison in Karaj.
He was accused of complicity in the death of a security agent, 5 counts of armed and unarmed robbery, the possession of and carrying arms and ammunition, addiction and beating security forces…
The Judge did not allow him to defend himself in court…
Judge Aziz Mohammadi charged Berazjani with addiction even as this prisoner does not even smoke cigarettes…
On the same day after the trial, state-run media published false reports on Tavakoli’s trial and announced that he was sentenced to retribution (death) because of intentional murder, 10 years of prison on charges of armed robbery, and 74 lashes.
Before this, Tavakoli defended jailed teacher Rasoul Bodaqi in Gohardasht Prison in Karaj after he was attacked by security forces and was summoned to the office of the head of the prison intelligence department where he was abused and threatened.
Three agents of the intelligence agency went to the home of Soudabeh Shahpour, his mother, and after threatening her told her that she is not to mention in court that she was shot in the neck by security forces else she will be charged with apostasy on charges of becoming a Christian and will be executed. She was also threatened that they would harm her other children and nephew.
Notably on July 17, 2008, Tehran's security and intelligence agents raided the apartment of the Tavakoli Berazjani family arresting all the members of this family present at the time. Agents shot Soudabeh Shahpour, the 50 year old mother of the family in the neck. Abbas Tavakoli and his brother Hossein Tavakoli Berazjani were beaten and tortured in front of their other family members in their home for several hours.
All the arrestees were taken to this city's criminal intelligence department. Some of the people arrested were, Tan-naz Abolhusseini Ahmadi (16 year old female), Khosro Qaedi (17 years old), Mahnaba Tavakoli Berazjani (26 year old female), Fatemeh Farahani (female), Soudabeh Shahpour (50 year old female), Abbas Tavakoli Berazjani (38 years old), Hussein Tavakoli Berazjani (33 years old), and Mohsen.
The tortures inflicted on this family were as follows:
The skin of the sensitive parts of the prisoner's body were pressed with pliers which sometimes led to wounds and injuries
Toe nails were pressed with pliers
Beatings with clubs and other objects for a prolonged amount of time
Tying the hands and feet of the prisoner from the back and keeping him this position for a long time
Hanging the prisoner from the ceiling until the prisoner passed out
Depriving the prisoner of drinking water in the hot summer temperatures
The prisoner was only allowed to use the restroom twice in 24 hours
The judge handling their case threatened the female detainees with rape
Pulling a bag over the head of the prisoner while he was being tortured
Jumping on the hands and feet of the prisoner while handcuffed
The prisoners witnessed the torture of his/her family members or heard their cries while they were being tortured
Hussein Tavakoli Berazjani whose whole body was black and bruised from the torture, died in this detention center. (Human Rights and Democracy Activists in Iran – Aug. 19, 2010)

زهرا بهرامي يکي از دستگير شدگان اعتراضات عاشورا در معرض صدور حکم اعدام قرار دارد

بنابه گزارشات رسيده به"فعالين حقوق بشر و دمکراسي در ايران"صلواتي رئيس شعبه 15 دادگاه انقلاب قصد دارد يک شهروند ايراني – هلندي تبار را به نام خانم زهرا بهرامي که از دستگير شدگان اعتراضات گسترده عاشورا است محکوم به اعدام و يا حبس ابد نمايد.
روز دوشنبه 25 مردادماه خانم زهرا بهرامي 45 ساله که بيش از 8 ماه بلاتکليفي در بند مخوف 209 به شعبه 15 دادگاه انقلاب نزد فردي بنام صلواتي قاضي فرمايشي برده شد. صلواتي خطاب به خانم بهرامي گفت:«اين پرونده شما اعدام داره يا حبس ابد داره» .
خانم بهرامي به دليل نداشتن وکيل از دفاع کردن از خود امتناع ورزيد و اعلام کرد فقط در حضور وکيل از خود دفاع خواهد کرد. صلواتي رئيس شعبه 15 دادگاه انقلاب پس از اعتراض خانم بهرامي دادگاه را براي 10 روز ديگر به تعويق انداخت.خانم بهرامي هنوز از داشتن وکيل محروم مي باشد.
اتهاماتي که بازجويان وزارت اطلاعات به او نسبت داده اند عبارتند از:محاربه،تبليغ عليه نظام،عضو فعال انجمن پادشاهي و تشکيل گروهک بر ضد نظام مي باشد.خانم بهرامي تمامي اتهامات نسبت داده شد را رد کرد و آن را اعترافاتي که زير شکنجه هاي جسمي و روحي از او گرفته شده است که غير قانوني و غير انساني است.
زنداني سياسي زهرا بهرامي 45 ساله و داراي 2 فرزند است. او داراي مليت ايراني- هلندي است و براي ديدن فرزندش به ايران مسافرت کرده بود که در اعتراضات روز عاشورا دستگير و تحت شکنجه هاي وحشيانه جسمي و روحي قرار مي گيرد . بازجويان وزارت اطلاعات در بند سپاه زندان گوهردشت کرج و در بند 209 زندان اوين او را تحت شکنجه ها و فشارهاي قرون وسطائي قرار دادند و وي را وادار به اعترافات تلويزيوني عليه خود نمودند.اين اعترافات دورغين از تلويزيونهاي دولتي پخش گرديده است.بازجويان وزارت اطلاعات اعترافات دروغين تلويزيوني را به عنوان اتهام عليه او بکار برده اند وقصد دارند که او را بر مبني محاربه محاکمه کنند. يک زنداني با نسبت دادن اتهامات دروغين محکوم به اعدام شد

بنابه گزارشات رسيده به "فعالين حقوق بشر و دمکراسي در ايران" زنداني امير عباس توکلي برازجاني به اتهامات دروغين درگيري و قتل نيروي انتظامي و ساير اتهامات بي اساس پس از محاکمه در شعبه 71 کيفري دادگاه تهران محاکمه و محکوم به اعدام شد.
روز سه شنبه 26 مردادماه بدون اطلاع قبلي زنداني امير عباس توکلي برازجاني که به اتهام درگيري با نيروي انتظامي بيش از 2 سال است که در بند 6 زندان گوهردشت کرج زنداني مي باشد به شعبه 71 دادگاه کيفري استان تهران برده شد و توسط فردي بنام نورالله عزيزمحمدي مورد محاکمه قرار گرفت.
اتهامات دروغيني که به آقاي توکلي نسبت داده اند عبارتند از؛ مشاركت در قتل يکي از افراد نيروي انتظامي، 5 فقره سرقت مسلحانه و غيرمسلحانه ، نگهداري و حمل سلاح و مهمات، اعتياد و ايراد ضرب و جرح مأمور نيروي انتظامي مي باشد...
رئيس دادگاه قاضي نورالله عزيز محمدي (پيش از اين طي مصاحبه اي با روزنامه هاي دولتي صدور 3500 حکم اعدام را از افتخارات خود مي داند) به آقاي عباس توکلي برازجاني اجازه دفاع از خود نمي داد...
عزيز محمدي همچنين او را متهم به اعتياد کرده بود در صورتيکه او حتي سيگار هم نمي کشد...
همان روز و پس از پايان محاکمه رسانه هاي دولتي گزارشهاي دروغيني از دادگاه و عليه آقاي توکلي انتشار دادند و محکوميت او را اعلام کردند که به قرار زير مي باشد: قصاص،‌ به خاطر قتل عمد - 10 سال حبس به خاطر سرقت مسلحانه - تحمل 74 ضربه شلاق و رد اموال سرقتي.
آقاي توکلي در جريان يورش به معلم زنداني آقاي رسول بداقي در زندان گوهردشت کرج به دفاع از او برخواست که پس از آن به دفتر علي محمدي و اطلاعات زندان فراخونده شد و مورد تهديد آنها قرار گرفت.
همچنين سه نفر از مامورين وزارت اطلاعات سه شنبه شب 26 مرداد ماه به منزل خانم سودابه شاهپور مراجعه کردند و او را تهديد نمودند که نسبت به اصابت گلوله به گردنشان در دادگاه نبايد اشاره اي نمايد در غير اينصورت او را به جرم گرويدن به مسحيت مرتد خوانده و اعدام خواهند کرد آنها همچنين او را تهديد کردند که که فرزندت،پسر خواهرت هم هستند بايد خيلي مواظب رفتار خودت باشي .
لازم به يادآوري است 27 تير ماه 1387 مامورين نيروي انتظامي با يورش به 2 آپارتمان مسکوني خانواده توکلي برازجاني و شليک به آنها خانم سودابه شادپور 50 ساله از ناحيه گردن مورد اصابت گلوله قرار گرفت.آقاي عباس توکلي برازجاني و بردارش حسين توکلي برازجاني در مقابل چشمان ساير اعضاء خانواده مورد ضرب وشتم شديد قرار گرفتند و چند ساعت در منزل شخصي آنها مورد شکنجه قرار گرفتند . پس از آن تقريبا تمامي اعضاي خانواده دستگيرو به آگاهي شاپور انتقال دادند: تناز ابوالحسني احمدي 16 ساله/خسرو قائدي 17 ساله /مهنابا توکلي برازجاني 26 ساله/فاطمه فراهاني واشکاني/سودابه شادپور 50 ساله /عباس توکلي برازجاني 38 ساله /حسين توکلي برازجاني 33 ساله / محسن
آنها تحت شکنجه هاي طاقت فرسا و غير انساني قرار گرفتند که به قرار زير مي باشد: با انبر دست پوست نقاط حساس را فشار دادن و حتي زخمي کردند /به مدت طولاني با باطوم و ساير اشيائ زنداني را مورد شکنجه قرار دادن / ازپشت دست بند و پابند زدن / جوجه کباب کردن /آويزان کردن به مدت طولاني تا زماني که زنداني بيهوش شود/ در عطش نگه داشتن زنداني به مدت طولاني / د ر طي 24 ساعت زنداني فقط 2 بار حق استفاده از دستشوئي دارد/ تهديد به تجاوز به خانم هايي که دستگير شدن توسط قاضي پرونده بنام روشن/هنگام شکنجه کيسه بر روي صورت زنداني کشيدن/ پريدن روي دست زنداني با پا در حالي که دستبند به دست زنداني است/ ساير اعضاي خانواده يا شاهد شکنجه بستگان خود هستند و يا صداي زجه و ناله هاي آنها را مي شنيدند .
آقاي حسين توکلي برزاجاني 33 ساله در اثر شکنجه هاي قرون وسطائي و وحشيانه و مستمر در حالي که تمامي بدن او سياه شده بود. (فعالين حقوق بشر و دمکراسي در ايران – 28/5/89)
