An Iran court has confirmed a sentence of three-and-a-half years in jail and 50 lashes for a journalist and film maker found guilty of anti-state propaganda and insulting the supreme leader, media reported.
Mohammad Nourizad was arrested late last year after he published on his blog letters deemed disrespectful to Iran’s highest authority, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and other senior officials.

يك دادگاه ايراني حكم 3,5 سال زندان و 50 ضربه شلاق يك روزنامه نگار و فيلم ساز كه متهم به تبليغات ضد دولتي و توهين به رهبر عالي شده است را تاييد كرد.
محمد نوريزاد اواخر سال گذشته دستگير شد پس از انتشار نامه هايي در وبلاگ خود كه به نظر (حكومت) بي احترامي به خامنه اي مي نمود دستگير شد.
وبلاگ هاي اپوزيسون مي گويند كه وي در بازداشت در زندان اوين, جايي كه هم اكنون اعتصاب غذا كرده است, مورد ضرب و شتم قرار گرفته است. (رويتر – 12/3/89)
