Mohsen Abdi and Arash Ghasemi, two detained students are currently on prison leave.
According to Daneshjoo News, Mohsen Abdi, student of archealogy at Bu-Ali Sina University of Hamedan who was arrested on the day of Ashura (December 27, 2009), has been granted a prison leave after 160 days of detention. This student activist has been sentenced to 2 years imprisonment by the lower court.
Arash Ghasemi, another detained student who was also arrested on December 27, 2009 was temporarily released from Evin prison on Tuesday night, June 1. The appeals court has issued a 2-year imprisonment verdict for him.
