According to reports, political prisoner Reza Jushan who is in very poor health has been told that he would only be treated if he writes a letter of repentance.
This 25 year old prison has been suffering from severe lung problems and bronchitis but he is refused treatment and will not be taken to the infirmary. His health is deteriorating on a daily basis.
In the past few days, the judge supervising the Prison went to his cell and said that he can only receive treatment if he writes a repentance letter. This political prisoner told him that ‘if I wanted to write a repentance letter, I would not be here’, which was met with an inhumane response by the judge.
On April, political prisoner Reza Jushan was transferred from a solitary cell in the Sepah Cellblock, which is under the control of the Ministry of Intelligence, to cellblock 6. This cellblock is used to torture prisoners. A number of criminals and dangerous prisoners are kept in this cellblock and most of them are suffering from severe psychological problems as a result of being kept under these conditions for a long time. These prisoners are given addictive medicine and are kept in inhumane conditions. Prisoners are deprived of visits and phone calls in this section. The medical and sanitary conditions and food quality is catastrophic. Prisoners are banned from having any kind of communications with other prisoners when they are taken out for fresh air.
Reza Jushan was arrested on December 1, 2009 after intelligence agents attacked his home and was taken to a solitary cell in Sepah Cellblock and then transferred to cellblock 4 after two months. Intelligence agents also arrested his mother, Zahra Asadpour Gorji six days after his arrest. She was also taken to a solitary cell in the Sepah Cellblock and was transferred to the female cellblock in Gohardasht Prison after weeks of psychological and physical torture

عدم درمان زنداني سياسي که در شريط حاد جسمي است
بنابه گزارشات رسيده به"فعالين حقوق بشر و دمکراسي در يران" زنداني سياسي رضا جوشن در شريط حاد جسمي است ولي درمان او را منوط به نوشتن ندامت نامه کرده اند.
زنداني سياسي رضا جوشن 25 ساله از دو هفته پيش دچار ناراحتي حاد ريه و برونشيت است ولي از درمان و انتقال او به بهداري زندان خوداري مي کنند و شريط او روز به روز حادتر مي شود.
در روزهي اخير قاضي ناظر بر زندان در سلول ين زنداني حاضر شد و به او گفت فقط با توبه نامه مي تواند از ين شريط خارج شود. زنداني سياسي رضا جوشن در جواب به ين فرد گفت:« اگر مي خواستم توبه نامه بنويسم که تا به حالا ينجا نبودم»که با برخورد وحشيانه ين فرد که خود را قاضي ناظر زندان مي ناميد مواجه شد.
زنداني سياسي رضا جوشن از نيم هي فروردين ماه از سلولهي انفرادي بند سپاه که در اختيار بازجويان وزارت اطلاعات است به
فرعي بند 6 منتقل شد.از ين فرعي بري شکنجه و تحت فشار قرار دادن زندانيان بکار برده مي شود.در ين فرعي تعدادي از زندانيان عادي و خطرناک در بازداشت بسر مي برند و اکثر آنها بدليل طولاني مدت بودن در ين شريط دچارناراحتي حاد روحي هستند و همچنين با تجويز قرصهي اعتياد آور آنها را در شريط غير انساني نگه داشته اند. زندانيان در ين فرعي از داشتن ملاقات و يا تماس تلفني با خانواده هي خود محروم هستند.وضعيت بهداشتي و غذيي ورسيدگي پزشکي فاجعه بار است. زنداني حق هيچگونه ارتباطي با سير زندانيان ندارد.هواخوري آنها بسيار محدود است.
لازم به يادآوري است که رضا جوشن 10 آذر ماه با يورش مامورين وزارت اطلاعات در منزل دستگير و به سلولهي انفرادي بند سپاه منتقل شدو پس از 2 ماه از بند سپاه به بند 4 منتقل شد.مامورين وزارت اطلاعات همچنين در روز16 آذرماه به منزل خانواده جوشن يورش بردند و خانم زهرا اسدپور گرجي مادر ين خانواده را دستگير و به سلولهي انفرادي بند سپاه منتقل کردند و پس از چند هفته بازجويي و شکنجه هي جسمي و روحي به بند زنان زندان گوهردشت کرج منتقل کردند.
