TRANSFER OF TWO POLITICAL PRISONERS TO WARD 350 OF EVIN

HRANA – Prisoners’ Rights: Ramin and Roozbeh Tehrani, two prisoners held in Evin prison were transferred to Ward 350 of that prison.

The Prisoners’ unit of HRA reports that two imprisoned students, Ramin and Roozbeh Tehrani, who were charged with Moharebeh (waging war against God) for communicating and working with the Monarchy Association have been transferred to Ward 350 of Evin prison.

It should be noted that the trial of Ramin and Roozbeh Tehrani was held on November 9, 2009, in Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran and both were acquitted of the charges of Moharebeh.

It should also be noted that Ward 350 is the holding place for many political prisoners, where special restrictions are imposed on the prisoners and where many political prisoners have been transferred to from other Wards over the past few months.
