Iran News Correspondent: In an unprecedented move, hardliner president Dr. Meybodi of Yazd University has ordered administrators of dormitories to charge students who want to remain on residence between semesters eight dollars a night.
The majority of students from last semester had to stay in the dormitory to prepare for their Masters entrance exam that will take place early March. The new dormitory fee will place a significant amount of pressure on students. The Iran News correspondent has reported protests of students to this decision and they have demanded from the school’s president to annul the decision.
